What will your typical day look like?

The Manager, Cloud Engineer (Azure) will play a critical role in designing, developing, and implementing cloud platform solutions that align with business needs. This hands-on role requires deep Azure expertise, C# programming and scripting proficiency, and the ability to work collaboratively across teams to drive automation and innovation.
 
Responsibilities:
•    Design and Develop Cloud Solutions: Create and prototype API specifications to automate provisioning, controls, compliance, and delivery of secure cloud platform services.
•    Architectural Leadership: Provide strategic direction and thought leadership for Azure-based cloud platform solutions while ensuring alignment with business objectives.
•    Collaborate Across Teams: Partner with development, operations, and business teams to streamline application lifecycle processes through automation and custom cloud solutions.
•    DevOps Enablement: Lead the adoption of DevOps practices, tools, and processes to establish fully automated build/release pipelines and ensure stability and consistency.
•    Troubleshooting and Optimization: Identify and resolve automation and cloud platform issues to ensure timely project delivery and high-quality outcomes.

Required Qualifications:

•    Azure Expertise: 4-5 years of hands-on experience with Azure, including console management and scripting (az cli, Powershell).
•    Azure Certification: Mandatory certification in Azure cloud technologies.
•    Scripting Proficiency: Advanced skills in scripting languages (az cli, Powershell) to support automation and development.
•    Cloud Development Tools: Proficiency with continuous integration tools (e.g., Github actions, Azure DevOps) and code management tools (e.g., GitHub, BitBucket).
•    API Design and Development: Intermediate proficiency in backend API design and development, especially using C# .NET.

Preferred Qualifications:

•    Agile Methodologies: Familiarity with Agile development practices, with SAFe, Agile, or Scrum certifications preferred.
•    Cloud Security Standards: Understanding of cloud security and compliance standards (e.g., ISO 27001, CIS, NIST).
•    Database Operations: Proficiency with traditional and no-sql database operations and queries (e.g., MS SQL Server, MongoDB).
•    DevOps Culture: Demonstrated ability to cultivate DevOps practices and lead the establishment of tooling and processes for automation.

The salary range for this position is $85,000 - $156,000, and individuals may be eligible to participate in our bonus program.
