Position Summary The Cloud Practice Manager reports to the Cloud Practice Director and is accountable for the performance, utilization, and growth of the Cloud consulting practice. This role ensures optimal alignment of talent to client demand, drives high-quality delivery outcomes, and develops a high-performing, scalable consultant workforce. Operating within Broadcom's services-led, partner-driven model, the Cloud Practice Manager serves as a critical link between go-to-market strategy and delivery execution. This role partners cross-functionally with Sales, Finance, Resource Management, Product Management, and Recruiting to forecast demand, optimize utilization, and continuously improve practice operations in a fast-paced consulting environment. Key Responsibilities Practice Performance & Workforce Optimization * Own utilization, capacity planning, and overall practice health, ensuring alignment between consultant supply and client demand
* Lead staffing strategy across the Cloud practice, aligning skills, availability, and client needs to maximize delivery success and margin
* Maintain real-time visibility into utilization, capacity, and performance metrics, driving data-informed decisions
* Own Center of Excellence (COE) operations and governance, driving standardization, best practices, and continuous improvement across the practice
Partner Alignment & Capability Development * Partner with Broadcom Enablement team to achieve VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF) certification and enablement targets
* Build and mature Broadcom-aligned practice capabilities to support delivery excellence and market differentiation
Talent Development & Performance Management * Support consultant performance through structured feedback, coaching, and recognition
* Lead career development planning aligned to practice needs, including skill development, certifications, and growth pathways
* Identify skill gaps and partner with Recruiting and Broadcom Partner Enablement to build a scalable, future-ready workforce
Delivery Excellence & Escalation Management * Serve as an escalation point for delivery and personnel challenges, ensuring timely resolution and maintaining client confidence
* Promote consistency in delivery standards, processes, and quality across engagements
Cross-Functional Leadership & Continuous Improvement * Partner with Sales, Resource Management, Recruiting, Finance, and People & Culture to align on workforce planning and operational priorities
* Identify and implement improvements to staffing models, performance processes, and practice operations
* Build and foster practice communities to drive knowledge sharing, engagement, and continuous learning
Required Qualifications * Experience leading teams in a consulting, professional services, or technical delivery environment
* Proven experience in resource management, staffing strategy, and utilization optimization
* Experience driving performance management and employee development
* Strong ability to manage competing priorities across staffing, performance, and operations
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
* Experience in cloud, infrastructure, or enterprise technology consulting
* Experience working within partner ecosystems (e.g., Broadcom or similar)
