Community Outreach Mental Care is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) to join our team in providing exceptional telehealth services. This is a full-time remote position offering a salary range of USD 86,000 to 103,000 annually, along with a hire-on bonus for successful candidates.

• Conduct thorough assessments and develop individualized treatment plans tailored to the unique needs of each client.
• Provide both pre-crisis and crisis consultation, formulating behavior guidelines, risk assessments, and medication treatment plans as necessary.
• Utilize evidence-based screening tools as part of the clinical assessment process, integrating feedback from various team members to enhance therapeutic outcomes.
• Document clinical interactions and required paperwork accurately and promptly, adhering to regulatory standards and ensuring seamless communication within the interdisciplinary team.
• Foster collaboration with local service systems, state agencies, and community partners to access resources that will benefit clients and their families.
• Actively engage in continuous professional development, attending workshops, conferences, and community meetings to stay informed about best practices in mental health care.
• Advocate for the agency’s mission and values, promoting awareness of available services to the wider community.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by the Clinic Director, contributing to the overall operational efficiency of the clinic.

You will work primarily with individuals experiencing mental health challenges, including those recovering from substance use, navigating developmental disabilities, and managing the effects of acquired brain injuries. A strong focus on individualized care ensures that each client receives personalized attention and support in their healing journey.

• A Master’s Degree in a behavioral health field is required.
• An active, independent Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) license issued by the state board.
• Experience in maintaining clinical records and preparing comprehensive reports that meet professional standards.
• Strong teamwork skills, enabling cooperative work within an interdisciplinary setting.
• Excellent communication skills to effectively articulate ideas and treatment plans.
• Sound judgment and decision-making abilities grounded in professional expertise.

• Previous work in telehealth or virtual counseling settings is preferred.
• Experience with crisis intervention strategies and positive behavior support plans.
• Familiarity with various evidence-based treatment modalities tailored to diverse populations.
