What is a Remote Botox RN?

A Remote Botox RN is a registered nurse who is licensed and trained to administer Botox injections and consult with clients, but works remotely rather than in a traditional clinic setting. These professionals may provide virtual consultations, develop treatment plans, and guide patients through pre- and post-procedure care via telehealth platforms. While the actual injection procedures may still require in-person appointments, Remote Botox RNs play a key role in patient education, follow-up care, and support, ensuring high standards of safety and satisfaction in aesthetic treatments.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as a Remote Botox RN, and why are they important?

To thrive as a Remote Botox RN, you need a valid RN license, specialized training or certification in aesthetic injectables, and a solid understanding of facial anatomy. Familiarity with telemedicine platforms, electronic health records (EHRs), and injectable products is typically required. Strong communication, attention to detail, and patient education skills are crucial for delivering safe and effective treatments remotely. These competencies ensure patient safety, compliance with regulations, and high-quality cosmetic outcomes in a virtual care environment.

What are some common challenges faced by remote Botox RNs, and how can they be overcome?

Remote Botox RNs often face challenges such as ensuring proper patient assessment via virtual consultations, maintaining compliance with state regulations, and managing logistics for product delivery and follow-up care. To overcome these, it's important to establish clear communication protocols, leverage secure telehealth platforms, and stay updated on licensure requirements for each state you serve. Building strong relationships with supervising physicians and collaborating closely with local clinics can also help address patient safety and continuity of care.

This is a remote position.

We are hiring a Senior Product Manager to lead complex product initiatives across behavioral health EHR software, medication management solutions, and regulated healthcare workflows. This role is ideal for someone who can move quickly from insight to action, work across technical and clinical stakeholders, and guide product decisions in environments that balance evolving requirements, compliance needs, and delivery timelines.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Independently analyze customer requirements and workflows, industry trends, and technical standards to guide the direction of product development and ensure alignment with market needs, especially for complex product features and initiatives.
  • Document functional and technical specifications for sophisticated software enhancements, collaborating closely with engineering teams to translate advanced user needs into actionable features.
  • Benchmark company products against key competitors by evaluating capabilities, feature sets, and technical performance to identify high-impact improvement opportunities.
  • Develop, update, and maintain comprehensive technical documentation for internal teams, supporting implementation, support, and ongoing development efforts for complex solutions.
  • Contribute to all stages of the product lifecycle, including requirements gathering, technical planning, system design, testing, deployment, and post-release support, with a focus on independently managing complex projects.
  • Engage directly with stakeholders to elicit, clarify, and prioritize technical requirements for inclusion in the product roadmap, often handling the most challenging or critical initiatives.
  • Design software solutions that comply with relevant regulatory requirements (such as HIPAA, ONC) and interoperability protocols (such as HL7, FHIR), as well as OTP-specific regulatory frameworks (42 CFR Part 8, DEA Schedule II requirements), independently addressing complex compliance and integration scenarios.
  • Assist in maintaining and communicating a living technical product roadmap, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and timelines, and taking ownership of major roadmap elements.
  • Provide technical expertise and support to sales, customer success, and implementation teams, helping articulate product capabilities and solutions to customers, particularly for advanced or high-priority products and features.
  • Prepare and deliver clear technical reports, analyses, and forecasts for management, addressing topics such as product performance, reliability, and utilization, including those involving complex data or metrics.
  • Support software release cycles by coordinating with engineering to monitor production readiness and address deployment concerns, especially for major or technically challenging releases.
  • Lead or participate in technical assessments of proposed product features, including ROI analysis, feasibility studies, and schedule development in partnership with cross-functional teams, with a focus on complex or high-impact projects.
  • Collaborate across departments, including engineering, quality assurance, and deployment, to launch new technical features and product modules, independently driving cross-functional initiatives.
  • Recommend product pricing strategies based on detailed technical research, system resource requirements, and projected usage metrics, particularly for sophisticated or new product offerings.
  • Stay current with technological advancements and industry best practices by attending relevant workshops, reviewing technical literature, and participating in professional organizations, and proactively sharing insights with the team.
  • Generate regular and ad hoc technical reports for business and internal stakeholders, and support special technical projects as assigned, often leading the most complex or novel initiatives.

RequirementsMinimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Product Management, Nursing, Pharmacy, or related field (experience may substitute for education).
  • 7+ years' experience in a product manager role for an EHR, with a strong preference for experience in medication management; active or inactive RN or PharmD licensure strongly preferred, with hands-on clinical experience in medication management workflows.
  • Familiarity with acute care settings and their distinct medication administration workflows.
  • Demonstrated success leading and independently executing complex, customer-facing product initiatives that increase conversion and drive strategic outcomes.
  • Ability to quickly learn internal product processes, develop deep business expertise, and handle complex product management challenges independently.
  • Exceptional analytical, creative, and synthetic thinking skills, with the ability to solve advanced technical and business problems.
  • Excellent verbal, facilitation, and writing skills, including the ability to communicate complex concepts clearly to diverse audiences.
  • Effective customer service skills with prompt, professional issue resolution, especially in challenging or high-stakes situations.
  • Highly skilled at interacting with diverse groups across all organizational levels, with experience leading cross-functional teams.
  • Proven ability to work independently and as a leader within teams.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Master’s degree in Project Management, Business Management, or closely related field.
  • Pragmatic certification or similar credential.
