Only Hiring In These States (AZ, ID, FL, MT, ND, TX, UT, WI)

Ready to join something exciting? Law Firm Velocity is crushing it as one of the top law firm CFO and bookkeeping firms in the US—and we are just getting started! We have built our reputation on being the absolute best at what we do: turning financial complexity into crystal-clear insights that help law firms thrive. Now we need another dynamic, hands-on bookkeeper who can bring that same clarity and energy to help firms understand their financial story.

Join our dynamic accounting team providing specialized financial services to law, architecture, and engineering firms. As a Bookkeeper, you will play a critical role in the financial management of many firms.

Compensation:

Responsibilities:
  • Record transactions in QuickBooks Online.

  • Reconcile bank, credit card, and balance sheet accounts.

  • Download and save supporting documents.

  • Support and collaborate with other team members and managers to address financial needs and other responsibilities as needed.

We’re looking for a proactive, detail-oriented accountant with a commitment to continuous learning and teamwork. Our ideal candidate will:

  • Enjoy learning and mastering new software tools.

  • Demonstrate strong attention to detail.

  • Show a willingness to jump in and assist wherever needed.

  • Enjoy learning finance software.

  • Foster a positive and respectful work environment.

While this role is 100% remote, it is a full-time working position — not a side job. Candidates must be available during designated business hours, actively perform assigned responsibilities, and consistently meet performance expectations.

Qualifications:

Work Schedule Expectations

This is a full-time role requiring 40 hours per week. A secure, interruption-free home office setup is essential.

  • Our team of 30 has the mentors, technical skillset, processes, and opportunities to support professional development.

Education / Experience

  • A few college courses in accounting or an associate's degree in accounting would be a big plus, but are not required.

  • Minimum of 12 months of bookkeeping experience.

Software Skills

  • Minimum of 12 months of experience using QuickBooks Online

  • Experience using tools like Slack, Snagit, and Outlook

  • Experience with payroll tools like Gusto, Paychex, QB Payroll, or other payroll processing software
