Content Marketing Specialist

Remote, within Canada | Full-Time

This posting reflects an actively open, existing vacancy at Peak Sales Recruiting.

About Peak Sales Recruiting

At Peak Sales Recruiting, our purpose is clear: we drive organizations and individuals to achieve excellence.

For more than two decades, we have partnered with growth-oriented organizations across North America to identify and secure exceptional B2B sales talent. As a leading executive search firm focused exclusively on sales, we help companies build elite teams that drive revenue, accelerate growth, and create lasting competitive advantage.

Our success is built on four core values:

  • Driven to Achieve Excellence
  • Disciplined to Do the Right Thing the Right Way
  • Of Service to Empower Excellence in Others
  • Always Improving to Reach New Heights

We believe exceptional results come from discipline, accountability, continuous improvement, and a genuine commitment to serving others. Our team thrives in a high-performance, fully remote environment where collaboration and ownership drive meaningful outcomes for clients and candidates alike.

Position Summary

We are looking for a talented Content Marketing Specialist to develop clear, accessible, high-quality content that connects with our community, speaks to trends, and supports the buyer journey. Reporting to the Vice President of Marketing, you will oversee our editorial calendar and social channels, ensuring the right content reaches the right audience at the right time.

This is a remote position, with minimal travel required for team-building events and one day per week in our shared office space.

What You'll Be Doing

This is a highly collaborative role. You will work closely with internal marketing teammates, sales, and recruiting, as well as external consultants to amplify our voice across all digital mediums: writing high-converting copy for email campaigns, website landing pages, blog posts, e-books, social media, and other core marketing collateral.
You are a dedicated team player who thrives in a fast-paced environment. We reach our goals by helping each other, pitching in, and offering support wherever it is needed.

  • Content Ownership: Own the content calendar and the creation of content for our product portfolio across all channels.
  • Persuasive Writing: Author and update content for our website, blog, marketing assets, emails, ads, and sales enrichment materials. The primary focus of this role is crafting email marketing campaigns, where persuasive writing is essential.
  • SEO Collaboration: Partner with our SEO team to create content that promotes our brand across all manner of search results while remaining highly compelling to readers, moving them to act.
  • Expert Research: Remain well-versed on industry updates and trends. You will ensure all content is rooted in accuracy and credibility by performing thorough, expert-level research for every piece of collateral.
  • Long-Format Content: Develop high-quality marketing materials, including case studies, ebooks, award submissions, and contributed articles for industry publications.
  • Brand Voice: Maintain verbal and narrative brand guidelines to ensure consistency across internal teams and external partners.
  • Modern Workflow: Find the ideal middle ground of using AI to speed up the content process without losing the unique and human voice of our company.
  • Weekly Reporting: Analyze web traffic and content performance, reporting on ROI weekly.
Agility & Organization: Exceptional organizational skills and a head for efficiency.
  • Growth Mindset: A strong willingness to learn new tools and adapt to evolving marketing trends.

What You Bring

  • Experience: 3+ years of experience developing multi-channel content, specifically for B2B companies.
Experience in writing content about the sales process or working with the recruiting industry is a significant plus.
  • Writing Excellence: A proven background in writing with a digital portfolio of produced marketing work.
  • Technical Skills: Strong fluency in Google Suite and PowerPoint are a must. Experience with CMS platforms (such as WordPress), social media management tools, CRM systems, and Google Analytics is highly valued.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in marketing, Advertising, Communications, English, or a related field.

What We Offer

Remote-First, Flexible Culture

100% remote work environment with company-provided equipment. Our model gives you autonomy and flexibility, built on trust and clear expectations rather than watching a clock.

Wellness and Growth:

  • Three weeks of vacation, plus five PTO days annually
  • Comprehensive benefits after 90 days
