Requirements
  • Minimum GPA of 3.0 in Accounting, Business Administration, Finance, or Economics (BS/BA/MSA/MST/Certificate Program).
  • Has foundational accounting knowledge (i.e., GAAP and GAAS).
  • Has earned enough units (or is close) to sit for the CPA exam.
  • Demonstrated interest in pursuing or obtaining CPA (Certified Public Accountant) Educational Licensure Requirements

Responsibilities
  • Using your foundation in accounting, learn and perform audit procedures to assess the accuracy and completeness of financial statements. This involves examining financial records, transactions, and supporting documentation to ensure compliance with accounting principles and relevant regulations.
  • Assist in evaluating and testing the effectiveness of internal control systems implemented by clients, working hand in hand with team members to deliver a quality product within the client’s timeframe.
  • Build relationships with clients, respond to client inquiries and concerns and proactively consider and develop ways to better serve audit clients’ needs.
  • Analyze financial statements and related disclosures to identify any material misstatements or discrepancies and take appropriate corrective actions.
  • Review and examine client financial records to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Continuously develop your skills and knowledge in auditing. This involves participation in training programs, staying up to date with changes in accounting and auditing standards, and pursuing relevant certifications such as the Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation.

The salary range provided is intended for candidates in the San Francisco Bay Area who meet the minimum requirements of the position.  Candidates who do not reside in the San Francisco Bay Area, do not meet the minimum requirements, or exceed the requirements are encouraged to apply and a recruiter will provide you with a range specific to your location and qualifications.
