Position Summary
Remote role: Preferred location in either central or eastern time zones.
This role will report directly to the Associate Contracts Manager and support the Teleflex Medical OEM organization globally. This position is part of the Sales Operations team and has responsibility for all aspects related to customer and vendor contracts. This position requires a solid leader to manage the entire contract negotiation process, which includes strong capabilities to interpret legal language, strong leadership skills to manage customers (internal and external) through the process, and exceptional communication skills. This position will also support Salesforce.com initiatives and ad hoc sales analysis.
Principal Responsibilities
Contract Management:
  • Review contracts from beginning discussions through to expiration monitoring.
  • Draft, negotiate, and finalize contracts which include: supply agreements, quality agreements, vendor agreements, development or service agreements, and confidentiality agreements.
  • Work directly with internal stakeholders to provide guidance and recommendation on contractual terms and provisions.
  • Act as the communication liaison between internal departments, external customers (as required) and the legal department to balance input on terms and contractual provisions.
  • Prepare language according to the terms/contractual provisions and administer contract proposals. Balance with corporate guidelines and legal counsel input.
  • Communicate with internal stakeholders the final contract structure for implementation and execution.
  • Manage executed contracts via proper storage/retention of executed contracts/amendments, real time updates to the contract database repository and monitoring of expirations for internal review.
  • Assist in the development and maintenance of standard contract language.
  • Manage the customer change notification process, which includes the availability of contract parameters, timely review of required information with internal stakeholders, tracking of the communication process, and proper record retention of the communications.
  • Review purchase orders for clarity/concerns on contractual content primarily for China purchase orders.
  • Maintain and lead the process to respond to customers' supplier pre-qualification queries and evaluations.
  • Maintain the process to respond to online bids.
  • Collect and analyze ad hoc sales data as needed by the business. Ad hoc requests to incorporate revenue stream, GP analysis, in-depth customer review, and additional requests as needed.

SFDC, Tradeshow Management & Ad Hoc Requests:
  • Manage Salesforce.com initiatives, including standard reporting, Lightning integration and Wave Analytics.
  • Lead quote reporting activities and analytics.
  • Manage tradeshow and web leads, reporting and analytics.
  • Ad hoc reporting and analytics upon request.

Education / Experience Requirements
  • Minimum of a Bachelor's degree required.
  • Minimum five years' experience as a paralegal/legal assistant preferred.
  • Minimum of five years' experience managing Business-to-Business contract agreements is preferred.
  • Minimum of two years of experience in manufacturing or the healthcare industry preferred.

TRAVEL REQUIRED: 15 %
The pay range for this position at commencement of employment is expected to be between $100,500- $150,800; however, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position will also include benefits such as medical, prescription drug, dental, and vision insurance, flexible spending accounts, participation in a 401(k) savings plan, and various paid time off benefits, such as PTO, short- and long-term disability, and parental leave, dependent on the position offered. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.
