Job description

This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Sr Technical Product Manager, Bot & AI Automation Intelligence in Netherlands.

This is a high-impact senior product leadership role focused on shaping the future of bot detection and automation intelligence in an increasingly AI-driven digital ecosystem. You will define the strategy and roadmap for next-generation fraud and automation detection systems, expanding beyond traditional bot management into AI agents, automated traffic, and adversarial behavior detection. Working in a globally distributed, remote-first environment, you will collaborate closely with engineering, data science, and go-to-market teams to build scalable, developer-centric products. The role combines deep technical understanding with strong product vision, requiring you to translate evolving threat landscapes into actionable detection capabilities. You will also own customer-facing experiences, including APIs and dashboards, ensuring usability and adoption across diverse clients. This position plays a critical role in strengthening trust, security, and intelligence across digital interactions worldwide.

Accountabilities:

In this role, you will take ownership of the end-to-end product strategy and execution for bot detection and automation intelligence, ensuring strong alignment across technical, product, and commercial functions. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Defining the vision, strategy, and roadmap for bot detection as a core product line, including its evolution into broader automation and intent intelligence.
  • Driving development of advanced detection capabilities, including AI assistants, bot patterns, spoofing techniques, and adversarial automation behaviors.
  • Partnering with engineering and data science teams to design evaluation frameworks, improve detection accuracy, and continuously optimize precision and recall.
  • Leading the design of taxonomy and classification models that define automation types, identity patterns, and trust signals.
  • Owning the strategy for non-JavaScript and server-side detection via APIs and edge-based intelligence systems.
  • Shaping customer-facing experiences, including dashboards, APIs, schemas, and developer workflows for fraud and automation decisioning.
  • Supporting commercialization efforts by collaborating with GTM teams on positioning, packaging, customer feedback loops, and product adoption strategies.
  • Driving cross-functional execution as the single-threaded owner, ensuring alignment across engineering, design, analytics, and GTM stakeholders.
Requirements:

We are looking for an experienced technical product leader with strong expertise in fraud detection, bot management, or security-focused platforms. Ideal candidates will bring a mix of product thinking, technical depth, and cross-functional leadership experience:

  • 3+ years of experience in bot management, fraud prevention, abuse detection, or related security/data platforms.
  • Proven ability to define product strategy, manage roadmaps, and deliver complex technical products in fast-paced environments.
  • Strong understanding of web technologies, automation techniques, APIs, and adversarial detection systems.
  • Experience working with data science and engineering teams on ML/heuristic-based detection systems, including measurement frameworks and performance optimization.
  • Deep familiarity with detection metrics such as false positives, false negatives, precision/recall tradeoffs, and system evaluation methods.
  • Strong analytical mindset with ability to define success metrics and interpret data-driven insights.
  • Knowledge of privacy regulations such as GDPR and CCPA as they apply to data signals and detection systems.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate technical complexity into clear product direction and customer value.
  • Bonus: experience with network/IP intelligence, proxy detection, client-server signal pipelines, and build-vs-buy decisions in security domains.
Benefits:
  • Competitive compensation aligned with experience, location, and market benchmarks.
  • Remote-friendly work environment with global collaboration across time zones.
  • Opportunity to work on cutting-edge AI-driven fraud and automation intelligence systems.
  • High ownership role with significant strategic and technical impact.
  • Collaboration with top-tier engineering, data science, and product teams.
  • Inclusive and diverse workplace culture focused on innovation and continuous learning.
  • Exposure to large-scale, real-world security and fraud challenges across global platforms.
  • Flexible working model supporting autonomy and distributed team productivity.
