JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS

The Department of Biomedical Engineering in the College of Engineering at The Pennsylvania State University invites applications for part-time, non-tenure track positions for the fall 2025 and spring 2026 semesters. These appointments will be part-time, non-tenure track appointments without benefits and no guarantee of renewal. Duties will include teaching lecture-based and/or laboratory classes, advising students and helping to assess course learning outcomes.

A Ph.D. or master's degree in biomedical engineering or a closely related field is required. Preferred areas of expertise include, but are not limited to engineering design, thermodynamics, numerical simulation, biomechanics, instrumentation, and medical imaging. Previous teaching experience is preferred. Review of applications will begin immediately and continue until all positions are filled. Interested applicants should upload a cover letter and resume.
