Job Summary:

ADOT's Digital Delivery - Program Manager will be responsible for leading, coordinating and driving forward the Department's implementation of delivering it's Digital Delivery Initiative.
This role will include manage and oversees a team of experts that will help the Department collect, develop, standardize, deliver and manage data workflows related to its infrastructure assets that follows the project development development life cycle - plan, program, design, and construct.
This position provides technical expertise in the development, management, and sharing of survey, design, and asset data in a CADD, BIM, Digital Twin and GIS environment, and will work closely with internal and external stakeholders in the industry to explore, pilot and test new technologies, and ensure resources and standard work/processes are in place, followed, and improved upon.

This position may offer the ability to work remotely, within Arizona, based upon the department's business needs and continual meeting of expected performance measures.

Job Duties:

Manage,oversee and advance ADOT's Digital Delivery Program by: developing and providing direction for data development and workflows through the project development process, use and application of existing and new software and hardware technologies, securing funds and managing vendor and consultant contracts, managing and communicating change, and providing reports on progress. Engage with and provide effective communication and coordination with industry stakeholders. Represent ADOT with various stakeholders, government entities, consultants, contractors, industry and technology vendors and suppliers, to communicate, inform, and advance ADOT's Digital Delivery Initiative. Represent ADOT at conferences, peer exchanges, and networking events upon request.
Manages and serve as Chair of ADOT's Digital Delivery Technology, Steering, and Governance Committees. Serve as Chair of ADOT's CADD Committee. Manages consultant contracts, workloads and budgets in support of ADOT's Digital Delivery Program. Applies for, secures, and
administers external grants/funding. Lead ADOT's utilization of drone technologies to collect, process and share data. Lead, manage and supervise ADOT's Digital Delivery Team to ensure ADOT project delivery teams have required and standardized design and modeling guidance, workflows and resources. Team members include, but may not be limited to: ADOT ProjectWise Administrator and CADD Manager. Coordination and collaboration with other data management team members including ITG and GIS.
Coordinates with and manages software licenses and training for staff, collaborates with industry to ensure training and guidance materials are developed and available to internal and external partners in design and construction, and manages and communicates change with internal and external partners. Prepares annual budget requests to ensure resources, technologies are available. Research, evaluate and make recommendations for implementation of new technologies to implement and advance ADOT's digital delivery initiative. This includes new design and survey software, data management and flow standard work, common data environments and workspaces, and data exchange and standardization.

Selective Preference(s):

Education includes a BS in Civil Engineering or closely related field and various employer training courses and seminars relevant to position.
Minimum 5-10 years of demonstrated team leadership responsibilities, project management, process mapping, and reporting.

Minimum 5-10 years of demonstrated roadway or bridge design experience.

Pre-Employment Requirements:

This position requires driving or the use of a vehicle as an essential function of the job and the following requirements apply. Any employee operating a motor vehicle on State business must possess and retain a current, valid class-appropriate driver's license, complete all required training, and successfully pass all necessary driver's license record checks. The license must be current, unexpired, and neither revoked nor suspended. Employees who drive on state business are subject to driver's license record checks, must maintain acceptable driving records, and must complete all required driver training. An employee who operates a personally owned vehicle on state business shall maintain the statutorily required liability insurance (see Arizona Administrative Code (A.A.C.) R2-10-207.11).
A valid driver's license is required if the incumbent is to be an authorized state driver.

All newly hired State employees are subject to and must successfully complete the Electronic Employment Eligibility Verification Program (E-Verify).
