Harbor Crest Behavioral Center Inc is looking for a dedicated Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to join our dynamic team. This position operates within a remote outpatient clinic setting, allowing for a healthy work-life balance while maintaining direct patient contact via teletherapy sessions. Key Responsibilities
  • Directly engage with clients during telehealth sessions, conducting assessments and providing individual, group, and family therapy tailored to their needs.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop integrated care plans that ensure comprehensive support across various services.
  • Implement evidence-based interventions to address symptoms of major mental illnesses and severe emotional disorders effectively.
  • Conduct thorough risk assessments and provide crisis intervention as needed, ensuring the safety and well-being of clients.
  • Monitor treatment progress and adjust care plans based on clients' evolving needs through regular reviews and follow-up sessions.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and committee work to enhance the agency's service delivery.
  • Maintain ethical and professional standards while ensuring timely completion of documentation and adherence to regulatory requirements.
  • Be available for on-call support during and after program hours as assigned, contributing to a holistic support system.
Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker at Harbor Crest, you will work primarily with adult clients facing complex mental health challenges. Many of our clients come from under-resourced backgrounds and require trauma-informed care that emphasizes empowerment and choice. Your role will be critical in building trusting relationships to foster recovery and personal growth.

Qualifications
  • A Masterโ€™s degree in Social Work (MSW) or a related field from an accredited institution is required.
  • Active licensure as a Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of California is mandatory.
  • A minimum of 2 years of direct clinical experience is preferred, showcasing expertise in assessment, diagnosis, and intervention strategies.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills to facilitate effective client interactions and documentation.
  • Exceptional organizational skills with a focus on collaboration and teamwork.
  • Demonstrated understanding of diverse cultural backgrounds and the ability to deliver services with respect for varied traditions and beliefs.
Preferred Experience

Compensation and Benefits
