The Opportunity:
For an organization to transform in today's digital world, it needs to properly collect, store, and organize its data. Effective data management can enable more efficient operations, yielding more growth. As a data architect, you know how to apply your creative-thinking and analytical mindset to help organizations manage their data assets. We're looking for a data architecture lead like you to solve complex challenges and deliver leading-edge solutions for national security.
As a data architect on our national security team, you'll use your extensive technical expertise to lead the design of data architecture solutions for big data analytics. You'll resolve routine data architecture-related issues in collaboration with business analysts and technology teams by working with project staff to make decisions and recommendations on future data architecture development.
In this role, you'll share your technical expertise, introduce best practices, and use tools like Closure, Scala, Python, and Rto design databases and applications. You'll lead your team as it designs, defines, develops, and tests cloud solution components, and you'll serve as a liaison between clients and developers to ensure that requirements are met and solutions are delivered.
With your motivation to establish processes and facilitate technological innovation, you'll make a lasting impact on national security.

You Have:
  • 10+ years of experience in data analytics, data architecture, or data engineering
  • 5+ years of experience working directly with business stakeholders, IT organizations, and technical teams to develop and implement data solutions
  • 5+ years of experience leading data-focused initiatives involving analytics, machine learning, artificial intelligence, or enterprise data management
  • Experience recommending and implementing data solutions to address business and mission requirements
  • Knowledge of an analytical or statistical language such as Closure, Scala, Python, or R
  • Ability to work independently and execute technical efforts with minimal oversight
  • Top Secret clearance
  • Bachelor's degree in a technology field

Nice If You Have:
  • Experience with ColdFusion
  • Master's degree in Mathematics or Statistics

The projected compensation range for this position is $99,000.00 to $225,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
