Duties include:

  • Quarterly GAAP and STAT tax provision relating to realized and unrealized capital gains for domestic life insurance companies; providing information related to permanent and timing differences used in determining effective tax rates for the operating divisions.
  • Year-end GAAP and STAT tax provision relating to permanent and temporary adjustments impacting Net Investment Income as well as realized and unrealized capital gains for life insurance and other.
  • Preparation of investment related portions of tax return for domestic life insurance companies.
  • Preparation of tax provision and tax returns for a portfolio of investment management companies.
  • Preparation of tax returns for a portfolio of real estate partnerships.
  • Review work of  Outside Big 4 CPA firm 
  • Effective at multi-tasking while meeting important tax deadlines.
  • Detail oriented, efficient and organized professional.
