Summary

 

The primary responsibility of the Operations Specialist (OS) is to facilitate FoxHire’s contracting services for the staffing industry and direct to client market. The OS assists recruiters in placing workers in temporary “contract” positions and in direct client roles throughout the United States and internationally. The types of workers placed through FoxHire are technical, high-level professionals (engineers, programmers, nurses, therapists, etc). 

 

Essential Functions 

 
  • Process the submitted details of contract placements and set up contract employees in FoxHire’s internal software system. 
  • Ensure all required items that will be needed during the employee onboarding process are included in the set up of the contract employee portal. 
  • Ensure background checks are set up, inclusive of all the client or industry requirements. 
  • Process applicable Placement Specifics Addenda and Employee Contracts.
  • Facilitate problem resolution with recruiters, client companies, contract employees, and cross-functional teams.  
  • Maintain accurate client information/onboarding requirements utilizing standard operating procedures.
  • Desire to build the working knowledge of Federal and State employment law and regulations needed to process submissions and assist with recruiter, client, and employee inquiries.
  • Maintain a computerized record of all communications with recruiters, clients, and employees within company software.
  • Invest in professional and personal growth through continuing education and industry-related educational opportunities. 
  • Participate in and potentially facilitate internal training of new team members and other departments.
  • Collaborate with internal developers to define when the software does not work as expected. 
  • Identify and implement process improvements.
  • Maintain a positive attitude of customer support and internal team collaboration in all daily activities.

Desired Qualifications

  • 1-3 years of work experience in a business environment, preferably within the staffing industry (such as an Employer of Record service, Recruiting Agency, Managed Services Provider/MSP, etc). Accounting, payroll, recruiting, or human resources may be considered, as well. 
  • High school education or equivalent required, some college is a plus. 
  • Strong technical aptitude and experience on multiple technology platforms.  
  • Experience in database applications, Google suite, Microsoft Word, and Excel.
  • Extremely detail-oriented, analytical-thinking, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Able to work independently on tasks, while maintaining a team-centered approach.

Who We Are

FoxHire provides Employer of Record (EOR) staffing services, placing workers in temporary “contract” positions throughout the United States. We primarily place technical and high-level professionals such as nurses, therapists, engineers, accountants, programmers, etc. into contract assignments as our W-2 employees. This role would join our in-house team of Finance, Human Resources, Operations, Sales and Product Development professionals who keep our operations running smoothly. Our corporate office is located in Canton, Ohio. We offer a modern office environment in addition to the options of remote work or hybrid work.
