What is a remote BeyondTrust job?

Remote BeyondTrust jobs are positions that involve working with BeyondTrust’s security software and solutions from a remote location. Employees in these roles may handle tasks such as implementing, managing, and supporting privileged access management (PAM) solutions, providing technical support, or developing cybersecurity strategies for clients. These roles are well-suited for IT professionals with experience in cybersecurity, systems administration, or technical support, and they offer the flexibility of working from home or another remote environment. BeyondTrust is a leader in identity and access security, so roles often require a solid understanding of security protocols and software technologies.

How does a remote BeyondTrust specialist typically collaborate with IT and security teams to manage privileged access across distributed environments?

As a Remote BeyondTrust Specialist, you'll work closely with IT administrators, security analysts, and compliance officers to implement and maintain privileged access management solutions. Collaboration often occurs through virtual meetings, ticketing systems, and shared documentation platforms to coordinate tasks such as onboarding new users, configuring access policies, and responding to security incidents. You may also conduct training sessions or provide technical guidance to local and remote teams to ensure adherence to best practices. Effective communication and a proactive approach to problem-solving are key, as you'll often be troubleshooting issues and providing support across multiple time zones.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as a remote BeyondTrust administrator, and why are they important?

To thrive as a Remote BeyondTrust Administrator, you need expertise in privileged access management (PAM), cybersecurity principles, and a strong understanding of network infrastructure, often supported by relevant IT certifications like CompTIA Security+ or BeyondTrust PAM certification. Proficiency with BeyondTrust’s suite of tools, Windows and Linux systems, and integration with directory services such as Active Directory is typically required. Excellent problem-solving, communication, and time-management skills help in troubleshooting issues and collaborating with remote teams. These skills ensure secure, efficient management of privileged access, protecting organizational assets and maintaining compliance in distributed work environments.

Job description

About Scanner
Companies should be able to ask any question of any real-world data set, even massive ones, and get an answer effectively instantly. That's the future we're building.
We're starting with security teams, who face this problem most acutely: searching massive log volumes to detect threats, investigate incidents, and hunt for compromised systems. We're expanding to infrastructure teams, DevOps, and SREs with similar challenges across observability data and system logs. Ultimately, any team dealing with large-scale data should have instant answers.
Scanner is a Security Data Lake that lets teams search and detect across petabytes of data in seconds, retain everything forever, and maintain full custody of their data.
Ramp, Notion, Confluent, and BeyondTrust use Scanner to analyze security logs faster, and on more data, than ever before. Our customers span fintech, healthtech, AI, and banking. At conferences like AWS re:Invent, we run 30+ demos over four days. The demand is real and scaling up.
We're also the Security Data Lake built for AI. More than a third of our customers have built agents on Scanner since we launched MCP support weeks ago, for automated investigation, detection engineering, and alert triage. Traditional systems are too slow and expensive for AI to iterate on. Scanner isn't.
We're 25 full-time, funded by Sequoia, CRV, SVCI, and Mantis VC, and growing fast. You'll join a high-trust team where your work shapes our story, pipeline, and revenue trajectory.
The Role
In this role, you'll partner with our sales, marketing, and founding team to manage the complete sales cycle for mid-market and enterprise clients, working within an establishing and still evolving GTM motion
What you'll own
  • Own the full sales cycle: from prospecting to close.
  • Build and nurture customer relationships, acting as a trusted advisor to uncover needs, deliver value, and drive adoption.
  • Collaborate closely with the founders and marketing team to shape the sales strategy, messaging, and ideal customer profile (ICP).
  • Create and iterate on sales collateral, playbooks, and processes to lay the foundation for a scalable revenue engine.
  • Provide direct feedback to product and marketing based on customer insights to help shape roadmap and positioning.

What you bring
  • Proven track record selling SIEM, log management, and security analytics platforms to mid-market and enterprise companies.
  • Self-starter mentality with comfort working in a fast-paced startup environment.
  • Ability to understand and communicate complex technical concepts to various stakeholders and manage an end-to-end sales process as well as be able to manage and own those relationships well.
  • Strategic approach to account planning and pipeline development, including prospecting and lead generation.
  • Excitement to shape and scale our evolving go-to-market motion - partnering on messaging, developing customer-facing content, and experimenting with campaigns that drive pipeline and product adoption.

We're a Series A startup disrupting the security space with innovative technology and a strong existing customer base. As an Account Executive, you'll make a significant impact in a high-growth environment where your contributions will directly influence our success and trajectory.
Compensation & Benefits
Competitive salary, meaningful equity, and comprehensive benefits (Medical, Dental, Vision, 401k, commuter). Remote-friendly with optional in-person collaboration in San Francisco, Mountain View, and Seattle.
