Job description

Setting the Stage
Online sports betting content is exploding in popularity. But the experience of engaging with sports betting content is often a needlessly painful one. Most users are long-term losers. There are a select few that are proven winners over the long term. They're expert sports handicappers ("cappers"). They've built audiences on social media, with their fans chasing for an edge across different platforms and tools. The experience of online sports betting is fragmented and often painful. Trust is fragile, workflows are fragmented, and the experience feels more like chaos than community. Cappers and fans alike are looking for better results with less effort.
Our Vision and Our Mission:
DubClub is building the destination where cappers and fans Win More Together.
  • For fans: DubClub is creating unified and highly valuable experience for fans that love tailing cappers. Get the best advice, in the smoothest fashion, and enjoy rewards that keep you engaged.
  • For cappers: DubClub is a business-building engine that helps you turn your passion into a profitable business. Cappers are the stars of the game, and enjoy a best-in-class operating system, automated marketing, and purpose-built discovery that grows their business on auto-pilot.
  • For DubClub: It's the ecosystem and unified "Win More Together" experience that cappers and fans have been waiting for. It's the value-add layer that brings richness to the experience of betting, tailing, and discovering new cappers.
ABOUT THE ROLE
DubClub is hiring a Lifecycle Marketing & CRM Lead to build our lifecycle marketing function from the ground up.
You will own how we communicate with creators and subscribers throughout their relationship with DubClub, from onboarding and activation through retention, cross-sell, reactivation, and long-term loyalty.
This is a hands-on builder role for someone who combines lifecycle marketing expertise with strong analytical judgment, product thinking, and a willingness to execute. You will work closely with Product, Data, Engineering, Creator Success, and the broader go-to-market team to turn customer insights into personalized, automated experiences.
Your success will be measured by the business outcomes you drive, including improved creator success, subscriber retention, reactivation, and customer lifetime value.
This role is fully remote.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
  • Develop and own DubClub's lifecycle marketing and CRM strategy across creators and subscribers.
  • Build onboarding, activation, engagement, retention, cross-sell, referral, and reactivation programs.
  • Create personalized customer journeys across email, push notifications, SMS, and in-app messaging.
  • Develop behavioral segmentation based on customer activity, preferences, purchase history, creator relationships, and seasonality.
  • Partner with Creator Success to turn effective coaching and outreach into scalable, automated programs.
  • Work closely with Product, Data, and Engineering to define customer events, triggers, data requirements, and in-product lifecycle experiences.
  • Build a structured experimentation program, including A/B testing, control groups, and measurement of incremental impact.
  • Analyze customer behavior to identify drop-off points, retention drivers, churn risks, and opportunities to increase lifetime value.
  • Build lifecycle dashboards, cohort reporting, and processes for measuring program performance and ROI.
  • Own and optimize DubClub's CRM platform, campaign infrastructure, deliverability, and communication governance.
  • Use AI and automation to improve personalization, campaign operations, reporting, and team efficiency.
  • Establish reusable lifecycle frameworks that allow DubClub to scale without relying on repetitive manual outreach.
  • Influence the product roadmap by identifying customer experience improvements that can increase engagement and retention.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
  • 6 or more years of experience in lifecycle marketing, CRM, retention, customer growth, or a related function.
  • Experience building or significantly improving lifecycle programs for a consumer subscription, marketplace, creator platform, sports, gaming, media, or e-commerce business.
  • A track record of improving outcomes such as activation, retention, renewal, reactivation, cross-sell, revenue, or customer lifetime value.
  • Strong experience with behavioral segmentation, triggered campaigns, lifecycle journey design, and multi-channel communication.
  • Experience using CRM or marketing automation platforms such as Braze, Iterable, Customer.io, HubSpot, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, or similar tools.
  • Strong analytical skills and experience using customer data, cohort analysis, and experimentation to guide decisions.
  • Experience partnering closely with Product, Data, Engineering, and customer-facing teams.
  • Comfort working in an early-stage environment where you will need to set the strategy and execute the work.
  • Strong communication, project management, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
  • Curiosity about AI and experience using automation to create more personalized customer experiences or improve operational efficiency.
NICE TO HAVE
  • Experience in sports betting, gaming, fantasy sports, or another seasonal consumer business.
  • Experience working with a two-sided marketplace or creator platform.
  • Experience building referral, loyalty, or recommendation programs.
  • Working knowledge of SQL or experience independently analyzing customer data.
  • Experience managing and developing a small team.
