As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, you will:

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to develop individualized treatment plans tailored to the unique needs of each client.
• Facilitate therapeutic group sessions that promote peer support and foster a sense of community among participants.
• Provide one-on-one counseling to clients, utilizing a variety of therapeutic methodologies to address their specific mental health challenges.

• Manage a caseload efficiently, maintaining up-to-date electronic medical records and notes to track progress and interventions.

Your clients will be individuals battling diverse mental health challenges, particularly those with co-occurring conditions. Understanding the nuances of the 12-step recovery process will be invaluable as it often informs the treatment strategies you employ.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• A Master’s or Doctorate degree in clinical psychology, counseling, or clinical social work from an accredited program (e.g., MA, MS, MSW, MFT, MHC, PhD, PsyD).
• An independent license to practice in your state, such as LCSW, LMFT, or LPC.
• Excellent communication skills, particularly in email and electronic medical records systems, which are crucial for remote coordination and patient documentation.
• A demonstrated ability to manage a large caseload effectively, collaborating with larger healthcare providers and support teams as required.

While not mandatory, candidates with the following experience are preferred:

• Familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) systems and a proven ability to navigate and utilize such platforms efficiently.
• Previous experience in mental health settings dealing with various behavioral health disorders.
