Clearly Heard Counseling Services, LLC is actively seeking a dedicated and experienced Licensed Mental Health Counselor to join our team in a full-time, remote capacity. We provide comprehensive telehealth services, allowing you to connect with clients while enjoying the flexibility of working from home. Key Responsibilities

• Participate in weekly treatment team meetings to discuss and communicate patient treatment goals, fostering a collaborative approach to care.
• Conduct utilization reviews for insurance providers, efficiently gathering and presenting clinical information to secure the necessary authorizations for patient care.
• Maintain open lines of communication with patients' families and loved ones, ensuring all inquiries are addressed promptly—within two hours during business hours and within 24 hours outside of those hours.
• Align closely with the Utilization Review and Business Departments to streamline authorization and payment processes, and ensure timely continuity of care.
• Initiate discharge planning upon patient admission, conducting thorough discharge sessions to reinforce coping strategies, transition plans, and available resources.
• Manage crises effectively during therapy sessions, providing guidance and support to both patients and milieu staff to maintain a therapeutic environment.
• Complete comprehensive clinical documentation in a timely manner, ensuring accuracy and compliance with healthcare standards throughout the treatment experience.
• Build and nurture therapeutic relationships with patients and their families, performing thorough assessments for suicidality and possible risks to enhance safety.
• Facilitate the admission process for new patients with warmth and professionalism, enhancing the welcoming nature of our services.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your work will involve interacting with a broad range of clients who come from various backgrounds and present different mental health challenges. We serve individuals dealing with anxiety, depression, trauma, and various behavioral health disorders, and your compassionate approach will play a crucial role in their rehabilitation and recovery journey. Our telehealth model allows us to reach clients across Forest Grove, Oregon, and beyond, ensuring that we meet them where they are and provide culturally competent care.

Qualifications

• A master’s or doctoral degree in clinical psychology, counseling, or clinical social work from an accredited institution (e.g., MA, MS, MSW, MFT, MHC, PhD, PsyD).
• An independent mental health license in Oregon (e.g., LCSW, LMFT, LPC) to practice in the state.
• Strong skills in managing a substantial caseload while interfacing with multiple healthcare providers and support staff.
• A deep commitment to making a positive impact on lives through effective behavioral healthcare.
• Proficiency in using electronic health record (EHR) systems for documentation and communication.
• Excellent written communication abilities, particularly in electronic mail correspondence.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of two years of clinical experience in a mental health setting is preferred, including experience in telehealth.
• Experience working with diverse populations and an understanding of the unique challenges faced by various communities.
• Knowledge of best practices in crisis management and intervention strategies.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of USD 80,000 – 100,000 per year, commensurate with your experience and qualifications. Additionally, our benefits package includes:
