Key Responsibilities

• Complete timely clinical documentation throughout the treatment process, ensuring that documentation occurs at the time of service to uphold quality standards.
• Build strong therapeutic relationships with patients and their families, performing assessments for suicidality and developing safety plans as required.
• Facilitate comprehensive admission assessments, guiding new patients with professionalism and a welcoming demeanor while actively participating in clinical outreach and program tours.
• Engage in weekly treatment team meetings, sharing and collaborating on treatment goals with fellow team members to enhance continuity of care.
• Conduct utilization reviews for insurance providers, presenting appropriate clinical information to secure initial and continued stay authorizations for our patients.
• Maintain timely communication with patients' family members, ensuring all queries are answered within two hours during business hours, and within 24 hours otherwise.
• Work closely with Utilization Review and Business Departments to manage authorization and billing processes, maintaining seamless communication with referral sources and other outpatient providers.
• Initiate discharge planning upon patient admission, leading discharge sessions that reinforce coping strategies and transition plans, while confirming follow-up appointments prior to discharge.
• Effectively manage crises as they arise during therapy sessions, collaborating with support staff to maintain a safe and therapeutic environment for all.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will work with a diverse patient population, focusing on individuals struggling with anxiety, depression, trauma, and a range of behavioral health issues. Your expertise will contribute to our mission of delivering personalized care that respects each individual's unique circumstances and treatment needs. Qualifications

• A Master's or Doctorate degree in Clinical Psychology, Counseling, or Clinical Social Work from an accredited institution is required.
• An active independent license in the state of Oregon (LCSW, LMFT, LPC) is required.
• Strong proficiency in the use of electronic medical records and effective email communication skills.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience managing a substantial caseload within a community clinic or equivalent setting is desirable.
• A proven passion for making a positive impact in lives through behavioral health care and advocacy is highly preferred.
• Ability to engage with large healthcare providers and support staff effectively.

Compensation and Benefits
