We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Licensed Mental Health Counselor to join our team at South Western Behavioral Health Center. In this full-time, remote role, you will be instrumental in providing therapeutic support to a diverse client base, including individuals, couples, families, and groups. Our outpatient model allows for flexibility, enabling you to reach clients who may have barriers to accessing traditional in-office therapy. You will be equipped with the necessary tools and resources to ensure your practice meets the organization’s standards, including case management software and access to professional development resources.

• Conduct thorough assessments to identify clients’ mental health concerns, which will guide the formulation of clinical diagnoses and tailored treatment strategies.
• Facilitate individual therapy sessions, along with group and family therapy, utilizing evidence-based therapeutic modalities that best align with clients’ unique needs and therapeutic goals.
• Provide immediate crisis intervention for clients experiencing acute mental health situations, ensuring they receive the urgent support necessary to stabilize their condition.
• Keep meticulous and confidential client records, including but not limited to treatment plans, session documentation, and progress tracking, adhering to ethical practices and legal requirements.
• Engage in interdisciplinary collaboration with psychiatrists, social workers, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive, holistic care for clients.
• Educate clients and their families about mental health issues, treatment options, and community resources, while advocating for clients’ needs to promote their well-being.
• Stay updated with developments in best practices and therapeutic techniques through continuous education and attendance at relevant workshops.

Your clients will encompass a broad spectrum of demographics, each facing unique mental health challenges. This may include individuals struggling with anxiety, depression, relationship issues, trauma, and other mental health disorders. Your ability to build rapport and foster trust with a variety of clients will be essential in helping them navigate their struggles and progress toward personal growth.

• Must be licensed as a Mental Health Therapist (LMFT, LMHC, LICSW) in the state of Massachusetts.
• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in counseling, psychology, social work, or a related mental health field is required.
• Demonstrated strong clinical assessment and diagnostic abilities are essential for this role.
• At least two years of relevant experience in a clinical setting is required.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills for building therapeutic relationships with clients.
• Proven ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
• A steadfast commitment to upholding the highest ethical and professional standards in mental health practice.

• Experience with specific therapeutic techniques or populations is a plus.
• Previous exposure to telehealth practices may enhance your ability to engage with clients effectively in a remote setting.

The competitive salary for this role ranges from USD 85,000 to 100,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications.
