• Conduct comprehensive assessments of client mental health and emotional well-being, ensuring a clear understanding of their needs.
• Develop and implement tailored treatment plans in collaboration with clients, based on assessment findings.
• Provide individual therapy to individuals spanning all age groups and deliver couples therapy to enhance relationship dynamics, communication, and conflict resolution.
• Regularly monitor and adjust treatment plans, documenting client progress meticulously through electronic health record systems to maintain accuracy and compliance.
• Engage interdisciplinary collaborations with fellow healthcare providers to ensure holistic care and achieve positive client outcomes.
• Conduct crisis interventions when necessary, offering immediate support to clients in distress.
• Stay abreast of the latest advancements in marriage and family therapy to continuously improve service delivery and client care.
• Advocate for client rights, empowering them to participate actively in their treatment journey.
• Maintain confidentiality and ethical standards in all interactions and documentation as per legal guidelines.
• Promote self-care among clients, modeling wellness strategies to encourage their overall mental health improvement.

Your work will involve a diverse clientele that includes individuals and families facing a wide range of emotional and mental health challenges. You will provide critical support for clients of all ages, facilitating their growth and healing through effective therapy methodologies and fostering a therapeutic environment that respects and nurtures their unique experiences.

• Master’s Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or a closely related field.
• Must hold an active Marriage and Family Therapist license issued by the State Board.
• Strong foundation in therapeutic techniques suitable for individual and couples therapy.
• Demonstrated ability to work with a varied age group, from children to adults.
• Proficient in managing documentation, including timely completion of assessments and treatment records.
• Excellent communication skills, with proficiency in electronic health record systems.

• Prior experience providing therapy in a clinical or outpatient setting.
• Familiarity with evidence-based practices and treatment modalities relevant to marriage and family therapy.
• Experience in remote therapy delivery is a plus, ensuring adherence to telehealth best practices.
