In this remote role, counselors have the flexibility to connect with clients from their home offices while still enjoying the support and community of our outpatient office team in Denver. Regular virtual meetings and collaborative tools ensure that our counselors remain connected and engaged with their colleagues and the larger organizational mission.

• Conduct initial assessments and ongoing evaluations of clients to understand their mental health status and develop personalized treatment plans.
• Engage in regular therapy sessions with clients, applying evidence-based practices to guide their progress.
• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions, drawing on culturally responsive techniques to best serve clients’ diverse backgrounds.
• Provide referrals to external healthcare providers, such as psychiatrists or community resources, when clients require additional support.
• Document all interactions and treatment plans in accordance with HIPAA standards and organizational guidelines within the EHR system.
• Participate in team meetings to discuss client progress and collaborate with colleagues on treatment planning.
• Maintain professional boundaries and uphold ethical standards in all client interactions.

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor at Great Western Behavioral Health Center, you will work with a diverse array of clients, including those facing challenges such as substance abuse, depression, anxiety, eating disorders, and other mental health issues. • A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
• A current and valid license such as LMFT, LPC, or LCSW to practice in the state of Colorado.
• A minimum of four years of relevant clinical experience in the mental health field.
• A comprehensive understanding of mental health disorders and evidence-based treatment methodologies.
• Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds.
• Proficiency in EHR systems and adeptness with other digital tools necessary for effective remote therapy.

• Experience in delivering group therapy sessions aimed at fostering community and recovery among peers.
• Strong crisis intervention experience, showcasing a calm demeanor during high-stress situations.
• A commitment to continuous professional development and adherence to ethical standards in practice.

The compensation for this position ranges from USD 70,000 to 100,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications.
