To thrive as a Remote Behavior Technician, you need a foundational understanding of applied behavior analysis (ABA), experience working with individuals with autism or developmental disabilities, and a high school diploma or bachelor’s degree in a related field. Familiarity with data collection software, telehealth platforms, and often a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification is typically required. Excellent communication, patience, and the ability to engage clients virtually are standout soft skills. These competencies ensure high-quality remote support, accurate implementation of behavior plans, and effective collaboration with supervising clinicians.
As a Remote Behavior Technician, your day usually consists of virtual one-on-one sessions with clients to implement behavioral interventions under a Board Certified Behavior Analyst's (BCBA) supervision. You’ll use telehealth platforms to interact, collect data on client progress, and participate in regular training or team meetings. Schedules can be flexible, often accommodating both part-time and full-time hours depending on client needs. At Kindbridge Behavioral Health, a Joint Commission-accredited telehealth organization, we help individuals and families affected by gambling, gaming, and related challenges while providing therapists the opportunity to build expertise in this growing field.
We're seeking part-time Therapists licensed to practice in Nebraska (residency in NE not required) who are interested in expanding their clinical skill set, working with a unique client population, and making a meaningful impact through flexible, remote work.
