Job Summary
The Human Development Institute (HDI) at the University of Kentucky is Kentucky's Center on Disability.

HDI is seeking to fill a Disability Program Administrator Associate position. This position is funded through a contract within Kentucky DBHDID Division Developmental and Intellectual Disabilities (DDID) and will work with the Supports Community Living (SCL) waiver program.

This Disability Program Administrator Associate position will work as the Operations Supervisor. The responsibilities of this position include:
  • Supervise and develop Division of Developmental and Intellectual Disabilities (DDID) operational and administrative staff while ensuring compliance, quality customer service and continuous improvement
  • Oversee internal Medicaid Waiver Management Application (MWMA) tasks including reviews, approvals and administrative functions
  • Collaborate with stakeholders, providers, and state agencies to ensure accurate communication and division-wide consistency
  • Monitor and analyze operational data and trends to support quality improvement and informed decision-making

This position is a remote position and is open to candidates living throughout the state of Kentucky. Occasional travel is a requirement of this position.
The ideal candidate is an effective leader with strong supervisory, organizational, and analytical skills who thrives in a collaborative, remote work environment. They have experience managing multiple priorities, fostering accountability, and supporting staff development.
