Job description

Vault Consulting provides top quality outsourced accounting, outsourced HR and full-service research programs to nonprofits. At Vault, core values are not just to splash on a website! We are seeking a Supervisor with at least 4 years of experience. This position predominantly includes preparation and/or review of month-end close work, financial statement preparation, and interactions with nonprofit clients. We work hard to ensure you get the proper amount of onboarding, professional development, and continuous training you need to keep up with industry best practices. You will be bringing your expertise to our clients as a consultant, but you are a full-time, benefited employee at Vault! 

What you'll do: 

  • Provide outsourced accounting services for multiple clients, including: 
  • Begin to oversee client relationship and engagement team 
  • Monthly balance sheet reconciliation review and preparation 
  • Production and review of monthly financial statements 
  • Preparation and review of audit and 990 support schedules 
  • Communicate directly with client on engagement matters 
  • Interface with external vendors and banking/finance institutions

Requirements

    • A seasoned professional with a blend of four to six years of experience in public accounting, auditing, corporate or non-profit accounting roles 
    • Licensed Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or license in progress preferred 
    • Not-for-profit industry experience preferred 
    • Familiarity with multiple commercial accounting software packages including Sage Intacct and QuickBooks is preferred  
    • Excellent Excel and MS Office skills 
    • Passion and commitment to providing quality client service and guidance 
    • Strong analytical/problem solving skills and attention to detail
