The Senior Accountant, Intercompany will be responsible for various job functions as it relates to both International and Domestic Inter-company reconciliations. The primary focus of this position will be working to confirm inter-company balances and learn the various bank reconciliations within the department. Additional responsibilities include working with the inter-company contacts to resolve any reconciling items, assisting in identification and implementation of systems improvements, as well as updating any necessary documentation relating to Sarbanes Oxley (SOX). This position is also responsible for employing an overall customer driven focus when dealing with both internal and external requests. This position requires a high degree of customer focus.

What you'll do here:
  • Managing Intercompany transactions, reconciling balances, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards
  • Manage end-to-end process for intercompany transactions, including sales, purchases, loans and settlements
  • Support the month-end and year-end close processes by preparing journal entries, accruals, and reconciliations related to intercompany activities
  • Work with various teams in the organization, including tax, accounts payable, accounts receivable, cost accounting, royalties and group reporting
  • Provide necessary documentation and support to both internal and external auditors
  • Company administrator for all bank users/processes, Intercompany modules, and Exchange rates module
Skills you will need here:
  • BS degree in Accounting or related field
  • 5 or more years of experience in Intercompany
  • Experience working with an offshore team strongly preferred
  • Proven leadership experience
  • Previous experience with SAP preferred
  • Intermediate Microsoft Excel
  • Must be self-motivated, detail oriented, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, ability to handle multiple tasks, meet established targets, direct staff assignments and be adaptable/flexible

The full base pay range has been provided for this position. Individual base pay will vary based on work schedule, qualifications, experience, internal equity, and geographic location. Sales roles often incorporate a significant incentive compensation program beyond this base pay range.
