Job Title: Banking Client Support Specialist

Industry: Financial Services / Banking Operations

Location: Fort Worth, TX

Assignment Type: Contract-to-Hire (6-month conversion opportunity)

Pay: $25.00-$28.00 per hour

Work Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM; Hybrid schedule with onsite requirements Tuesday-Thursday and remote flexibility Monday and Friday

Job Description:

The Banking Client Support Specialist will provide operational and client support within a financial services environment. This position is responsible for maintaining accurate account information, completing reconciliation activities, assisting with research requests, supporting compliance-related processes, and delivering high-quality service to clients, advisors, and internal teams. The ideal candidate will have banking operations experience, strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy in a regulated environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Complete daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly reconciliation activities for banking and financial accounts.
  • Support month-end close processes by preparing journal entries and maintaining required documentation.
  • Research and resolve account discrepancies while identifying opportunities for process improvements.
  • Assist with client and advisor requests, including account documentation, statements, verification requests, and historical information.
  • Support required reporting activities and regulatory documentation processes.
  • Respond to inbound client inquiries through phone, email, and secure communication channels.
  • Process account updates and maintenance requests while ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Assist with annual reporting tasks, including withholding and other required financial activities.
  • Partner with internal departments to resolve issues and improve operational efficiency.
  • Provide additional administrative and operational support as needed.

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience in banking operations, financial services, customer service, or a related field.
  • Experience with account maintenance, reconciliations, and researching account discrepancies.
  • Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Ability to handle confidential information while maintaining accuracy and compliance with established procedures.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite; experience with Jack Henry or similar banking platforms preferred.
