A Remote Backend .NET Developer is a software engineer who specializes in building and maintaining the server-side components of web applications using the Microsoft .NET framework, such as ASP.NET. They work remotely, meaning they perform their job duties outside of a traditional office, often from home or another location. Their responsibilities typically include designing APIs, managing databases, optimizing application performance, and ensuring secure data handling. These developers collaborate with front-end developers, project managers, and other stakeholders, using tools that support remote communication and code collaboration. The role requires strong programming skills in C# or VB.NET, as well as experience with cloud services, databases, and version control systems.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as a Remote Backend .NET Developer, and why are they important?

To thrive as a Remote Backend .NET Developer, you need strong programming skills in C#, .NET frameworks, and a solid understanding of back-end architecture, often backed by a computer science degree or equivalent experience. Familiarity with databases (like SQL Server), cloud platforms (such as Azure), version control systems (like Git), and relevant certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified: .NET Developer) are highly beneficial. Excellent problem-solving abilities, self-motivation, and effective remote communication skills distinguish top performers in this role. These competencies enable you to build robust, scalable applications, collaborate effectively with distributed teams, and deliver high-quality solutions remotely.

Job description

Full-Stack Engineer Opportunity

In this role, you'll work directly on the core product: campaign creation, personalization pipelines, delivery tracking, analytics, and integrations with modern GTM tools. We're looking for a full-stack engineer with 2–5 years of experience who cares deeply about shipping fast, building clean systems, and designing product experiences that feel magical.

What You'll Do:

  • Build and ship full-stack product features using React, Next.js, TypeScript, and Node
  • Design and implement APIs that power campaign creation, personalization, and delivery tracking
  • Work on systems that generate, render, and queue physical mail dynamically
  • Build internal tooling and dashboards for campaign analytics and operations
  • Integrate with CRMs, data providers, and outbound tooling (Salesforce, HubSpot, etc.)
  • Optimize performance and reliability across the stack
  • Collaborate closely with design and GTM to ship fast iterations
  • Communicate technical tradeoffs clearly and concisely

What We're Looking For:

  • 2–5 years of experience building modern production web apps
  • Strong skills in React, Next.js, TypeScript, Node.js
  • Experience working across the stack (frontend + backend)
  • Solid understanding of APIs, databases (Postgres preferred), and system design
  • Ability to move quickly and ship in a fast-paced startup environment
  • Strong product sense — you think about user experience, not just code
  • Comfort owning features end-to-end
  • Ability to leverage AI tools to build faster and better
  • Clear written and verbal communication in English

Nice to Have:

  • Experience with rendering pipelines (PDF generation, templating, etc.)
  • Experience with queues, background jobs, and event-driven systems
  • Experience integrating with CRMs or GTM tooling
  • Experience working on growth or outbound-focused products and startup experience

What's in it for you/Benefits for working for us:

  • Competitive salary
  • Remote/hybrid work culture
  • Flexible work timings
  • Family Group Medical Health Insurance
  • Group Accidental Insurance
  • Leave encashments (gross, not just base salary)
  • Regular fun and sports activities
  • Birthday/Anniversary celebrations
