Raze Therapeutics Counseling Services is currently seeking a dedicated and licensed Mental Health Counselor to join our innovative team. This is a full-time remote position based in San Diego, California, offering a competitive salary range of USD 115,000 – 130,000 annually, commensurate with experience. • Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients' mental health needs through interviews, surveys, and diagnostic tests, creating tailored treatment plans that foster personal growth and recovery.
• Provide crisis intervention and short-term individual therapy sessions, employing various therapeutic modalities to assist clients in managing immediate concerns and anxiety.
• Facilitate engaging therapy groups and educational workshops, focusing on critical topics such as coping strategies, mindfulness, and personal development to empower clients.
• Collaborate closely with interdisciplinary teams, including physicians, nurses, and support staff, to ensure coordinated and holistic care for all patients.
• Participate in community outreach initiatives, campaigns, and mental health awareness events to build connections and engage with broader audiences.
• Maintain meticulous records of sessions, assessments, and treatment progress, ensuring compliance with ethical guidelines and legal standards.

The mental health counselor will work primarily with a diverse clientele, including individuals experiencing stress, depression, anxiety, trauma-related disorders, and other psychological challenges. Our clinic serves individuals from various backgrounds, and we strive to create an inclusive environment that respects and honors each patient's unique experiences and cultural context.

• Must possess a current and active state license as either a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Psychologist.
• A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related field is required; a Master's or Doctoral degree is preferred.
• Demonstrated understanding of mental health issues prevalent in outpatient settings, specifically related to diverse and underserved populations.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to foster relationships with clients and collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team.
• Familiarity with evidence-informed therapies and intervention models that cater to the specific needs of patients in a community health setting.
• Proven ability to adapt in a fast-paced remote environment while managing a varied caseload and time-sensitive responsibilities.

Experience in providing mental health counseling within a community clinic, primary care, or hospital setting is preferred. Additional certifications in specialized therapeutic methods, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) or mindfulness-based approaches, are highly desirable.

• The annual salary for this position ranges from USD 115,000 to 130,000, dependent on qualifications and experience.
