This position is primarily remote, allowing counselors the flexibility to create a comfortable work setting that enhances their productivity and work-life balance. Counselors will also have opportunities to interact with clients in our outpatient office as needed. • Develop and implement individualized therapy plans tailored to clients’ specific needs by conducting comprehensive assessments and evaluations.
• Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions for individuals, couples, families, and groups, utilizing techniques such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), psychodynamic approaches, and solution-focused brief therapy.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to ensure holistic care and treatment integration, participating in case consultations to discuss client progress and strategies.
• Maintain meticulous and up-to-date clinical documentation in adherence to regulatory standards and ethical guidelines, ensuring confidentiality and integrity in all records.
• Engage in ongoing professional development through workshops and seminars to remain informed on the latest research and techniques in the mental health field.

The licensed counselors at Azure Counseling Services will work with a diverse clientele that may include children, adolescents, adults, and families facing various mental health issues, such as anxiety, depression, trauma, substance abuse, and relationship difficulties. Many clients may have limited access to traditional mental health resources, making our work increasingly vital to their success and recovery.

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a closely related field is required.
• An active and unrestricted license as a Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Texas is mandatory.
• A minimum of two years of direct counseling experience, preferably in a clinical setting, is essential.
• A thorough understanding of legal and ethical standards related to counseling practices is crucial.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills to foster rapport with a diverse range of clients.
• Demonstrated capability to collaborate effectively within a healthcare team.
• Proficiency in electronic medical record (EMR) systems and related technologies to facilitate efficient documentation.

• Specialization in areas such as family therapy, couples counseling, trauma-informed care, or substance misuse is highly desirable.
• Experience in a remote counseling environment is a plus, showcasing adaptability to varied therapeutic settings.

• This role offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 70,000 to 90,000 annually, commensurate with experience and caseload.
