Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments to evaluate clients' mood disorder symptoms, including their intensity, frequency, and duration.
• Collaborate with clients to design individualized treatment plans tailored to their unique goals, preferences, and challenges.
• Implement evidence-based therapeutic methods, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), ensuring interventions are effective and outcome-oriented.
• Educate clients and their families about mood disorders, available treatment options, and essential self-care practices to foster empowerment and understanding.
• Regularly monitor client progress, making necessary adjustments to treatment plans to reflect evolving needs and goals.
• Work in partnership with psychiatrists and healthcare professionals for integrated care, ensuring comprehensive support for clients.
• Stay abreast of the latest research and advancements in the field of mood disorders to enhance treatment approaches and client outcomes.
• Maintain meticulous and confidential documentation in compliance with legal and ethical guidelines, ensuring the integrity of client information.

Qualifications

• Active and current state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).
• A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or related field from an accredited institution.
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills to establish trusting therapeutic relationships with clients.
• Empathy and a nonjudgmental approach to clients' experiences and challenges are essential.
• Strong organizational and time management abilities to effectively balance client needs and administrative responsibilities.

Preferred Experience
