This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled software engineer with expertise in data engineering, cloud infrastructure, and DevSecOps practices to join a highly technical and fast-paced environment. In this role, you will contribute to the development and optimization of scalable data platforms and distributed query systems supporting enterprise-grade operations. You will work with modern cloud-native technologies, automation frameworks, and infrastructure-as-code tools to improve performance, reliability, and security across complex systems. Accountabilities:

This role focuses on building, maintaining, and optimizing secure data engineering and cloud infrastructure solutions in distributed environments.

  • Design, implement, and maintain scalable data engineering and DevSecOps solutions
  • Support and optimize distributed query engines and modern data architectures
  • Develop and maintain infrastructure automation and deployment workflows using Infrastructure-as-Code methodologies
  • Manage and enhance Kubernetes-based containerized environments and cloud-native systems
  • Configure, troubleshoot, and optimize platforms built on technologies such as Starburst Enterprise, Trino, or Presto
  • Develop advanced Linux scripting solutions and support system administration activities within enterprise environments

  • Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve infrastructure and application performance issues

Requirements:

The ideal candidate combines strong cloud engineering expertise with hands-on experience in distributed data systems, automation, and infrastructure management.

  • 3+ years of experience in Data Engineering and/or DevSecOps roles
  • Strong hands-on experience with Starburst Enterprise, Trino, or Presto
  • Strong experience with advanced Linux scripting and system administration
  • Experience working with Red Hat Enterprise Linux and automation tools such as Ansible
  • Experience with data table formats such as Iceberg, Hive, or similar technologies
  • Solid understanding of distributed query engines and large-scale data architectures
  • Hands-on experience with cloud platforms including Amazon Web Services or Microsoft Azure
  • Practical experience with Kubernetes, Docker, and Infrastructure-as-Code tools such as Terraform
  • Proficiency in at least one programming language such as Python
  • Experience implementing enterprise-level security, governance, and access control practices
  • Strong troubleshooting, debugging, and performance tuning skills
  • Strong analytical mindset and ability to work effectively in collaborative technical environments
