About the job Cloud Architect (hybrid-remote)
*1 year contract
This is a hybrid-remote role open to applicants who reside in Michigan
Job Duties and Responsibilities: The main responsibilities are:

  1. As a Cloud Architect, youll be responsible to provide technical oversight for all new and
  2. existing SaaS implementations.
  3. The SaaS solutions include ERP and CRM applications using Microsoft Dynamics D365 and Salesforce.
  4. Responsibilities for this position include but are not limited to:
  5. Participate in vendors solution design sessions for client projects providing design
guidance in areas such as extensions/modifications, data conversion, environmentprovisioning and application integration to ensure the vendor solution is efficient, cost effective, and easily maintainable for SOM.
  1. Work with the customer and end users to define technical requirements for new projects
and any future enhancements.
  1. Lead Technical workshops and design sessions with the Customer.
  2. Propose/Articulate design/architecture options with pros/cons
  3. Ensure that the technical requirements tie back to the established customer requirements
and performance goals and that the technical direction is consistent with the client's long term strategy.
  1. Fully understand the capabilities and limitations of the technical environments of the
applications used by the enterprise.
  1. Review technical architecture deliverables throughout development to ensure quality and
requirements traceability.
  1. Has overall technical responsibility for the technical aspects of the project environments
  2. Compile internal development guidelines/standards for the development team and ensure
the team is following those standards.
  1. Provide oversight on QA efforts to ensure adherence to quality assurance standards.
  2. Ensures the proposed solutions adhere to SOM security guidelines and standards
throughout the application lifecycle.
  1. Proven record of delivering business value by leveraging technology and an ability to
communicate strategic technical concepts at an executive level and be a trusted voice atthe decision-making table.
  1. Devise a D365FO and Salesforce training plan for the development team for a smooth
and successful transition to Maintenance & Operations.
  1. Technical leadership, to include coaching and mentoring, setting best practices including
integration and application development, deployment, testing (unit and systems), anditerative refinement
  1. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  2. Ensure the proposed solutions fit in the overall architecture and business logic of
Dynamics Ax and its modules.
  1. Aligns the RICEW (Reports, Interfaces, Conversion/Data Migration, Extensions)
customization requests with each other.
  1. Review the technical design proposed by the vendor for all RICEW components.
  2. Have a deep understanding of the D365 F&O technology stack and the peripheral
technologies that can be leveraged including, but not limited to, Azure, Azure SQL, DataLake, Synapse, Power BI, Common Data Service, Power Apps, Azure Logic Apps, etc.
  1. Strong knowledge and working experience on Service Cloud
  2. Participation in each phase of full Salesforce.com lifecycle implementations
  3. In-depth understanding of the capabilities and constraints of the Salesforce
  4. Strong technical foundation: advanced structured programming (APEX, Force.com, .Net,
Java), relational database concepts and structures, structured system analysis and designmethods, etc.
  1. Demonstrates successful implementation of Batch Apex and/or Schedule Apex
development.
  1. Understands web services and other technologies that can be used to transport data in an
enterprise environment and interact with Salesforce.com
  1. Ownership of all End-to-End technical aspects of a Salesforce.com program: data
migrations, data quality, systems integrations, 3rd party applications, AppExchangeproducts, and custom development
  1. Define, communicate, and manage technical change management (e.g., release) processes
for all Salesforce.com related technology efforts
  1. Assess Salesforce.com architecture and provide secure, high-performance technical
solutions on the Force.com platform
  1. Design and document technical architecture solutions that span multiple platforms and
include integration and authentication across systems
  1. CICD/Release Management
  2. Identification of risks and issues from technical perspective.
  3. The successful candidate will be a self-motivated individual, who can work under dynamic conditions and within deadlines.
Experience, Skills, Knowledge: Top Skills
  1. 1+ years of experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 for Finance and Operations with Enterprise clients and at least 4+ years of experience with Dynamics CRM.
  2. Minimum 5+ years experience leading Enterprise Salesforce implementation
  3. Minimum of two full lifecycle CRM or ERP implementations leading a technical workstream such as integration, data conversion or extension development.
  4. Good understanding of LCS (Life Cycle Services) and Azure DevOps.
  5. Experience in other technologies such as SQL, PowerBI along with good knowledge C# and the .Net framework.
  6. Knowledge of end-to-end D365FO implementation and D365FO interfacing and integration.
  7. Experience with D365FO interfacing and integration.
  8. Demonstrated experience with Dynamics 365 for Finance and Operations in the
  9. following technical areas:
  10. Data Management Framework (aka DIXF).
  11. PowerApps, LogicApps, Common Data Service and other Azure Services
including Azure Functions, Azure Blob and Table Storage, Azure Event Grid,Azure Service Bus, Azure API Management.
  1. Understanding of Synchronous and Asynchronous integration patterns.
  2. Extension approach to customization versus overlayering.
  3. Role-based security design and customization.
  4. Extensible Data Security.
  5. Report development and Power BI.
  6. Code build and deployment via Visual Studio Team Services and LifeCycle
  7. Services.
  8. Understanding of Azure Licensing and Costing is a Plus.
