Job description

Sr. .Net / Azure Developer

Location – Seattle, WA – remote – must be willing to work PST

Duration – 12 months

As a Lead Developer, this role is responsible for the development and quality of solutions or services delivered to our clients. This role will champion Microsoft methodologies and frameworks and assist in the technical development of team members through the provision of guidance, support, mentoring and leadership. You will play a crucial role in defining, analyzing, developing, testing and maintaining software applications to meet the business requirements of our clients. This includes writing code, testing and analyzing software programs and applications. The Developer will also research, design, document and modify software specifications throughout the production lifecycle.

Tools and Languages required:

  • Languages: Microsoft.Net, ASP.Net, C#, JavaScript, TypeScript, PowerShell, SQL
  • Foundation Technologies: Visual Studio Professional, MSSQL, git, Azure DevOps, Azure PaaS Services

Responsibilities:

  • Work with the team and customers to translate requirements and design into working software.
  • Manage development responsibilities as assigned by the development team
  • Collaborate with design, testing, and development staff to define software requirements
  • Contribute to the overall software design and architecture for each feature to be delivered
  • Recommends/designs structures and tools for systems which meet business needs.
  • Use best practice in development efforts including unit testing, code structure, and deliver
  • Assist in the creation and maintenance of software releases
  • Maintain in-depth knowledge of specific technical specialties, and provides expert advice regarding their application
  • Provide and supervise specialist technical consultancy
  • Delivers technical visualisation of proposed applications for approval by customer and execution by system developers
  • Maintains awareness and plans for non-functional requirements
  • Contributes to and guides local or team-based standards for programming tools and techniques, advises on their application and ensures compliance
  • Takes technical responsibility for all stages in the software development process. Prepares project and quality plans and advises systems development teams
  • Provides advice, guidance and assistance to less experienced colleagues as required
