Job Description

Position Title: Azure Full Stack Engineer (Senior Associate Infrastructure L2)

Contract Openings: 1

Location: Remote or U.S.-based (preferred candidates with Oil & Gas domain experience!!)

Key Focus Areas:

  • AI/ML integration and development within Azure environment
  • Azure Functions and APIM (API Management)
  • Microservices architecture design and implementation
  • Data engineering and Lakehouse architecture (Databricks, Delta Lake, Synapse, etc.)
  • CI/CD pipeline automation (Azure DevOps, Jenkins, GitLab)
  • Oil & Gas industry experience
  • Unity Catalog familiarity (knowledge preferred, not expert level)

Role Overview: As a Senior Associate Infrastructure L2, this individual will design, implement, and manage Azure-based infrastructure with strong DevOps practices. The role involves developing and automating data pipelines, managing microservices, and ensuring secure, scalable, and efficient deployments across environments. Collaboration with data, development, and operations teams is key.

Required Skills & Experience

  • 5+ years in cloud infrastructure, DevOps, or full stack engineering.
  • Deep understanding of Azure (preferred) or AWS/GCP.
  • Hands-on experience with:
    • Azure Functions, APIM, Microservices, and CI/CD automation.
    • Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible for Infrastructure-as-Code.
    • Containerization: Docker, Kubernetes, or AKS.
    • Scripting: Python, Bash, PowerShell.
    • Monitoring: Prometheus, Grafana, Azure Monitor, Datadog.
  • Understanding of networking, security, and cloud compliance.
  • Familiarity with Unity Catalog and Lakehouse architecture.
  • Domain experience in Oil & Gas preferred.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Azure or AWS certifications (Azure DevOps Engineer Expert, AWS DevOps Engineer).
  • Experience with serverless computing and AI/ML integration.
  • Knowledge of DevSecOps and automation for security compliance.
  • Prior experience in large-scale cloud migration projects.

Core Responsibilities

  • Design, deploy, and maintain scalable Azure cloud infrastructure and microservices.
  • Build and manage CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps or Jenkins.
  • Automate deployments and infrastructure provisioning via Terraform, ARM templates, or Ansible.
  • Implement AI/ML models and data pipelines within Azure ecosystem.
  • Monitor infrastructure and optimize for cost, security, and performance.
  • Work with Data Engineering teams on Lakehouse architecture (Databricks, Synapse).
  • Apply DevSecOps principles to ensure compliance and security.
  • Document infrastructure processes and best practices.
