Fetcherr experts in deep learning, e-commerce, and digitization, Fetcherr disrupts traditional systems with its cutting-edge AI technology. At its core is the Large Market Model (LMM), an adaptable AI engine that forecasts demand and market trends with precision, empowering real-time decision-making. Initially focused on the airline industry, Fetcherr is expanding to transform additional verticals with dynamic AI-driven solutions.
We are expanding our global operations in the mobility and car rental domain and are seeking a senior Subject Matter Expert (SME) at Director level.
This role is designed for an experienced professional coming directly from the global car rental or mobility services industry, with deep knowledge of data ecosystems, data structures, and operational data flows across major players (e.g., Hertz, Avis Budget Group, Enterprise Holdings).
The SME will play a key leadership role in shaping Fetcherr's data ingestion, modeling, and validation frameworks, serving as the bridge between industry data realities and product innovation. You will work closely with Product, Data, Engineering, and Program teams, and directly support strategic customer engagements.
Key Responsibilities
Industry Expertise & Data Leadership
  • Serve as Fetcherr's senior authority on car rental data ecosystems and data models.
  • Bring deep understanding of core Car rental datasets.
  • Understand data granularity, lineage, and lifecycle, from source systems to analytical layers.
  • Translate industry data structures, inconsistencies, and gaps into product requirements, data models, and validation logic.
  • Lead discovery, data mapping, and requirement gathering sessions with enterprise clients.

Client Engagement
  • Represent Fetcherr as the data domain expert in high-level meetings with global customers.
  • Lead discussions on:
  • Data availability and gaps
  • Data quality and validation rules
  • Historical vs real-time data flows
  • Provide ongoing guidance during onboarding, ensuring data accuracy, completeness, and usability for AI models.

Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Work closely with Product, Data Engineering, Data Science, and Solution Architecture teams to embed domain-specific data logic into Fetcherr's platform.
  • Support internal teams with training and knowledge transfer on car rental data structures, systems, and workflows.

Requirements
Industry Background
  • 12-15 years in the car rental, mobility services, or fleet management industry.
  • Direct experience in data-related roles such as Data Management, BI/Analytics, Data Engineering, or Systems Integration - mandatory.
  • Strong familiarity with operational systems and datasets used by major car rental companies such as Hertz, Avis Budget Group, Enterprise Holdings.
  • Hands-on experience with
  • Reservation systems (CRS)
  • Fleet management systems
  • Pricing and rate management systems
  • Data warehouses / data lakes
  • Background in digital transformation within the mobility/car rental industry - advantage.
