Overview

Apogee has an opportunity for a Systems Engineer to provide contractor site reachback support for the M-Code Aviation Receivers Joint Program Office (MAR JPO). These positions provide senior-level technical support in specialized areas, including Test & Evaluation, Avionics Integration, and Cybersecurity.

These are full-time remote positions with occasional travel to government sites.

Responsibilities

Technical Support:

Provide senior technical support in specialized areas:

    Test & Evaluation
  • Avionics Integration
  • Cybersecurity
    • Support Studies & Analysis (S&A) task execution
    • Conduct trade studies and technical analyses
    • Provide expert technical assessments and recommendations

Test & Evaluation (for T&E specialists):

  • Support test planning and strategy development
  • Evaluate test approaches and methodologies
  • Review test plans and procedures * Analyze test results and provide assessments
  • APDP T&E Level III certified or military T&E school graduate

Avionics Integration (for Integration specialists):

  • Support platform integration planning and analysis
  • Evaluate interface requirements and ICDs
  • Assess integration approaches and risks
  • Provide expertise on aircraft systems and interfaces
  • Direct involvement with 3+ aircraft platforms required

Cybersecurity (for Cyber specialists):

  • Support cybersecurity threat analysis and evaluation
  • Conduct vulnerability assessments
  • Evaluate cybersecurity testing approaches
  • Develop countermeasure recommendations
  • Technical knowledge of PNT systems security

Studies & Analysis Support:

  • Execute assigned S&A tasks
  • Conduct research and technical analysis
  • Prepare technical reports and documentation
  • Support trade studies and technology assessments

Qualifications

Minimum Experience:

Citizenship: Must be a US citizen
Clearance: Must have and be able to maintain a TS/SCI level clearance
Education: Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, or related field
Years of Experience: 20 years of experience in specialized areas

Test & Evaluation:

  • DT/OT experience
  • APDP T&E Level III or military T&E school

Avionics Integration:

  • Airborne integration, direct involvement with 3+ platforms

Cybersecurity:

  • Cybersecurity focused on PNT systems, threat evaluation, testing, and countermeasures

Additional experience:

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent technical writing and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines

Preferred Experience:

Education: Master's Degree in Engineering, or related field
Years of Experience: 15 years of experience in specialized areas (Test & Evaluation, Avionics Integration, Cybersecurity)
