Job description

The Major Gifts Director is a highly relational and strategic fundraising leader who partners closely with Samaritan Aviation’s executive leadership to secure six- and seven-figure gifts and carries a personal annual fundraising goal of $2M.


This role is responsible for executing and informing a comprehensive fund development strategy that prioritizes major gifts while integrating annual giving, donor events, foundations, capital campaigns, and emerging areas such as planned and non-cash giving. 


The ideal candidate is deeply relational, spiritually aligned with the mission, and energized by building long-term donor partnerships that fuel lifesaving impact. This is a remote role with regular travel for donor meetings, events, and ministry engagement.
