Tax Accountant Job Summary: The Tax Accountant is responsible for managing and preparing tax filings, ensuring compliance with tax laws and regulations, and providing tax-related advice to the organization. This role involves analyzing tax data, identifying potential tax savings, and minimizing tax liabilities. Key Responsibilities: Prepare and file federal, state, and local tax returns for the organization.

Ensure compliance with all tax laws and regulations, staying up-to-date with changes. Analyze financial data to identify tax-saving opportunities and reduce tax liabilities. Research and resolve tax issues and discrepancies as they arise.

Provide advice and support to management on tax planning and strategies. Assist with tax audits and coordinate with external tax advisors and auditors. Prepare and maintain documentation to support tax filings and audits.

Develop and implement tax policies and procedures to ensure efficient tax management. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. CPA or EA certification preferred.

3+ years of experience in tax accounting or a related role. Strong knowledge of tax laws, regulations, and compliance requirements. Proficiency in tax preparation software and accounting software.
