Job description

Jeppesen ForeFlight
HR Business Partner - GTM
Location: Remote, United States | Employment Type: Full-time
Department: People / HR | Reports To: Sr. HRBP, GTM
About Jeppesen ForeFlight
Jeppesen ForeFlight builds mission-critical, on-premises SaaS software trusted by pilots, airlines, and aviation operators around the world. As a pre-IPO company scaling rapidly, we're investing in the people infrastructure to match our growth - and we're looking for an HR Business Partner to join our GTM People team, working in close partnership with our current GTM HRBP to support our Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, and Revenue Operations organizations.
About the Role
This role will partner alongside our existing GTM HRBP to provide comprehensive HR support across our fast-growing Go-To-Market organization. Together, you'll divide coverage of the GTM population by segment, geography, or function - sharing context, calibrating on approach, and presenting a unified, consistent HR partnership to GTM leadership. You'll bring independent judgment and ownership to your portion of the business while staying closely aligned with your HRBP partner and the broader People Team on strategy, policy, and precedent.
This is a great fit for someone who thrives on true partnership - someone who communicates proactively, doesn't operate in a silo, and sees consistency across the GTM org (compensation practices, performance standards, employee relations precedent) as a shared responsibility rather than personal territory.
What You'll Do
  • Shared GTM coverage: Partner with the existing GTM HRBP to divide coverage of Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, and Revenue Operations (by leader, segment, or geography, to be defined), ensuring every GTM leader has clear, consistent HR support.
  • Calibration and consistency: Regularly sync with your HRBP partner to calibrate on performance ratings, promotions, compensation decisions, and employee relations precedent, so that similar situations are handled consistently across the GTM organization.
  • Strategic partnership: Serve as a trusted advisor to GTM leaders on org design, talent strategy, workforce planning, and change management, tailoring your approach to the needs of your assigned segment or function.
  • Talent management: Guide leaders through performance management, talent reviews, succession planning, and promotion processes, ensuring rigor and fairness across the organization.
  • Employee relations: Manage employee relations matters within your coverage area with sound judgment, escalating and aligning with your HRBP partner and People leadership on sensitive or precedent-setting cases.
  • Compensation and rewards: Partner with Total Rewards on compensation planning, offer structuring, and pay equity reviews for your GTM population, staying calibrated with your HRBP partner on approach.
  • Organizational health: Use engagement data, attrition trends, and direct feedback from GTM leaders and employees to identify risks and proactively recommend interventions.
  • Program delivery: Help design and roll out core People programs - including performance cycles, engagement surveys, and leadership development - tailored to the realities of a GTM organization.
  • Cross-functional collaboration: Work closely with Talent Acquisition, People Operations, Total Rewards, and Legal to deliver a seamless HR experience for GTM employees and leaders.

What We're Looking For
  • 5+ years of HR Business Partner or similar generalist experience, ideally supporting Sales, Marketing, or other GTM functions.
  • Experience partnering with another HRBP or working within a shared coverage model, with a demonstrated ability to stay aligned and consistent with a peer.
  • Strong business acumen and the ability to build credibility with senior GTM leaders as a trusted advisor.
  • Solid grounding in core HR disciplines, including performance management, employee relations, compensation, and organizational design.
  • Experience operating in a fast-paced, high-growth environment, ideally at a pre-IPO or scaling technology company.
  • Excellent judgment and discretion in handling sensitive employee relations matters.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills, with a collaborative, low-ego approach to partnership.
  • Comfort working independently while proactively keeping others informed and aligned.
  • Based in the United States, with the ability to work remotely and travel occasionally as needed.

Nice to Have
  • Experience supporting a Revenue Operations or Customer Success organization in addition to Sales and Marketing.
  • Familiarity with sales compensation structures, quota-carrying roles, and GTM-specific performance metrics.
  • Experience in the software, SaaS, or aviation technology industries.
  • Experience supporting a company through an IPO or other major growth milestone.
  • Certification in HR (e.g., SHRM-CP/SCP, PHR/SPHR).

What We Offer
  • Competitive salary and benefits package.
  • The opportunity to help build the people infrastructure of a fast-growing, pre-IPO aviation technology company.
  • A true partnership model that offers both ownership and built-in collaboration.
  • Flexible remote work arrangements.
  • Opportunities for professional growth within a scaling People organization.
