What is remote automotive management?

Remote automotive management refers to overseeing and coordinating automotive operations, such as sales, service, or fleet management, from a location outside of a traditional dealership or office setting. This role often uses digital tools and communication platforms to manage teams, monitor performance, and ensure customer satisfaction. To thrive as a Remote Automotive Manager, strong leadership, automotive industry expertise, and experience in operations management are essential, often supported by a degree in business or automotive management. Familiarity with dealership management systems (DMS), CRM software, and remote collaboration tools is typically required. • Provide industry insight related to customer care, servicing, collections, lending support, repossession, total loss, and related operational functions
  • Support executive client discussions with strategic and operational expertise
  • Translate industry trends into actionable client solutions
Solutioning & Commercial Support
  • Partner with sales, operations, and delivery teams during new business pursuits and solution development
  • Support onboarding, client expansion, and strategic solution design
  • Contribute to value proposition development and go-to-market strategy
  • Influence growth opportunities through consultative client engagement
Cross-Functional Leadership
  • Collaborate closely with Operations, Sales, Delivery, Recruitment, and Executive Leadership teams
  • Balance commercial growth objectives with operational realities and scalability
  • Influence stakeholders across a matrixed organization
  • Operate effectively in a fast-paced, high-accountability environment

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience and SME in the Automotive and/or Auto Finance or Utility industries
  • Strong background in account management, client services, strategic partnerships, or commercial growth leadership
  • Experience supporting enterprise-level client relationships
  • BPO experience is a plus
Preferred Experience
  • Experience working within both client-side and BPO/provider environments strongly preferred
  • Strong understanding of customer operations, servicing models, and operational scalability
  • Experience supporting complex enterprise accounts and multi-stakeholder environments
Professional Skills
  • Commercially driven with a growth-oriented mindset
  • Executive presence with strong communication and influencing skills
  • Ability to identify strategic growth opportunities proactively
  • Strong operational and financial acumen
  • Collaborative, solutions-oriented leadership style
Compensation & Location
  • Base salary approximately $140,000-$180,000 USD

  • Approximately 20% travel

Benefits

  • Short Term & Long Term Disability
