Job Description

The Industry Sales Manager will lead a sales team across multiple states in the Pacific Northwest (AK, ID, NV, OR, UT, WA), focused on selling Rockwell Automation technology and services into discrete & process manufacturing clients. You will drive business growth, building long-term executive customer relationships, and leading a high-performing sales team to achieve and exceed annual sales targets. You will report to the Industry Sales Director and will work remotely out of Washington, Oregon, Utah, or Idaho.

Your Responsibilities:
  • Lead and coach account managers, follow a disciplined sales process, maintain opportunity funnel and forecast through SalesForce

  • Build and maintain strong customer executive relationships

  • Hire, develop, and manage a highperforming sales team

  • Support ongoing training and individual development plans

  • Ensure the team clearly understands and communicates the company's digital strategy

  • Provide industry expertise to help teams and customers succeed

  • Network internally with executives to help your sales team succeed

  • Operate across regions and leverage distribution partners to execute on complex opportunities

The Essentials - You Will Have:
  • Bachelors degree or equivalent years of experience

  • Legal authorization to work in the U.S. We will not sponsor individuals for employment visas, now or in the future, for this job opening.

  • The ability to travel 25% - 50% of the time.

  • A valid drivers license.

The Preferred - You Might Also Have:
  • 5 years of management experience with 8+ years of overall sales experience within industrial automation.

  • IIOT, Digital Transformation and Industry Experience

  • Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering or Business discipline. Additional business-related degree/experience.

  • Prior experience in sales, industrial distribution, systems integration or an engineering firm.

  • Previous experience managing a sales team or leading distributors.

  • Experience working with all levels of large project customers including executives, management, and engineers.

For this role, the Total Target Compensation is from $202,240.00 - $303,360.00 of which 60% is base salary and 40% is variable. Our benefits for the US can be found here. Actual pay will be based on factors such as skills, knowledge, education, and experience.
