Key Responsibilities

• Deliver psychotherapy to individuals grappling with mental health issues related to substance abuse, utilizing evidence-based interventions.
• Conduct thorough assessments that inform individualized treatment plans, ensuring the incorporation of best practices and solution-based techniques.
• Administer a variety of therapeutic interventions, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), customized to address the unique needs of clients.
• Maintain accurate, detailed, and compliant clinical records in accordance with relevant regulations and organizational standards.
• Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary treatment team to provide coordinated and holistic care for clients.
• Educate patients and their families on available mental health and substance abuse resources, empowering them to make informed decisions regarding their recovery.
• Stay informed on the latest research and developments in the field, and integrate these insights into your therapeutic practice to enhance client outcomes.
• Effectively manage a caseload, meet treatment goals, and adhere to ethical standards, all while establishing trusting relationships with clients.

The clientele at Evolve Social Work Center consists of individuals seeking recovery from substance use disorders and related mental health challenges. Our diverse patient base includes adults from various backgrounds, each requiring personalized support and innovative treatment strategies.

Qualifications

• A Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
• A valid LCSW license in the state of Virginia.
• At least 1 year of clinical experience, specifically in the realm of substance abuse therapy.
• A solid understanding of solution-focused interventions and therapeutic modalities.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and teamwork abilities are essential for effective collaboration within a dynamic treatment setting.

Preferred Experience

While 1 year of clinical experience is required, additional familiarity with mental health legislation and best practices in substance abuse treatment will be considered a significant advantage. Experience using electronic health record (EHR) systems for managing patient information is also beneficial.

Compensation and Benefits

The role offers a competitive salary range of USD 80,000 – 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
