Job description

A contract opportunity is available for an Educational Audiologist specializing in telehealth services within the Minnesota school system. This role supports 13 districts and approximately 113 students, providing essential audiological services during the school term from September 1st through October 14th with a 40-hour workweek.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct audiological evaluations and screenings for students via telehealth technologies.
  • Assess and support hearing needs, ensuring accessibility to educational content.
  • Collaborate with educators and school staff to develop effective hearing support strategies.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and compliance with educational and health regulations.
  • Support multiple school districts efficiently, adapting to diverse student needs.
Qualifications:
  • Licensed Audiologist with experience in educational settings.
  • Proficiency in telehealth platforms and remote patient engagement.
  • Strong communication skills for coordinating with educators, students, and families.
  • Ability to manage multiple districts and prioritize workload effectively.
  • Understanding of special education regulations related to hearing impairment.
