Compensation: $60,000-$75,000 annually, commensurate with experience

Role Overview

The End User Computing (EUC) Technician is a hands-on IT professional with a strong foundation in Office 365, end-user desktop support, and Level 2 remote support operations. This role requires a proactive problem-solver who enjoys working directly with end users, thrives on variety, and is excited about delivering excellent support in the healthcare industry.

Responsibilities
Core Systems Administration & Support
  • Serve as the escalation point for the Level 1 Service Desk, including client communication and hands-on technical troubleshooting.
  • Manage Microsoft 365 environments including Exchange, Teams, SharePoint, and user access.
  • Perform Request and Incident Management processes within Service Level expectations (priority and escalation norms) using Service Management tools.
  • Provide comprehensive Tier 2 desktop support (Windows and Mac), resolving escalated helpdesk issues remotely and onsite.
Networking & Security
  • Apply networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, IP addressing, DHCP, DNS, and NAT) to troubleshoot end-user connectivity and support simple network configurations.
  • Support secure remote access, TLS/SSL encryption, MFA, and other security best practices.
  • Assist with endpoint security configurations, applying basic security and wireless concepts.
Automation, Monitoring, and Tools
  • Use scripting tools (e.g., PowerShell) to automate repeatable tasks and improve operational efficiency.
  • Manage device configurations using MDM tools like Intune, Automate, and NinjaOne.
  • Maintain system updates and security patches across desktop and endpoint environments.
Client-Facing Field Support
  • Travel to client sites for scheduled support, installations, and issue resolution.
  • Act as a trusted technical advisor to clients, identifying opportunities to optimize and improve their IT environments.
  • Document solutions, procedures, and systems clearly and consistently in our knowledge base.
Qualifications
Required Skills
  • 5+ years of experience in desktop support or Tier 2 IT support
  • Strong working knowledge of:
    • Active Directory (basic administration)
    • Microsoft 365 administration
    • Windows 10/11 desktop environments
    • Desktop support (Windows and Mac)
    • Networking fundamentals: TCP/IP, IP addressing, NAT, DHCP/DNS
    • Mobile Device Management (Intune or similar)
    • Scripting (PowerShell preferred)
    • SaaS phone systems (e.g., Teams Business Voice) and basic audio/visual support
Preferred Skills
  • Experience working with an MSP or in client-facing IT support roles
  • Exposure to healthcare IT (EHR/EMR systems, HIPAA, HITRUST)
  • CompTIA A+ or Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP) certifications a plus

Location & Work Environment
