This position is fully remote, allowing you to create an ideal work-life balance by working from your home or any environment conducive to providing mental health support. You have the flexibility to establish your working hours, accommodating your personal availability while ensuring you meet the needs of your clients. Depending on your choice, you can work full-time (more than 30 hours a week) or part-time (more than 5 hours a week).

• Conduct compassionate mental health counseling sessions via secure video conferencing, adapting your approach to meet each client’s unique needs.
• Assist clients in exploring their thoughts, emotions, and interpersonal relationships, providing insights that foster personal growth and understanding.
• Utilize evidence-based practices, including solution-focused therapy, to establish tailored treatment plans for individual clients, guiding them towards their goals.
• Regularly assess and monitor client progress throughout the treatment process, adjusting interventions to support sustained improvement in mental health.
• Facilitate development of effective coping strategies and self-care techniques, reinforcing clients’ resilience and ability to manage challenges.

Your role will span a diverse client demographic, focusing primarily on individuals experiencing emotional distress, depression, anxiety, and those requiring support in navigating life transitions. You will work with clients towards enhancing their mental wellness while recognizing the confidentiality and sensitivity required in these discussions.

• A Master’s degree in a counseling-related field such as Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology.
• A valid and active mental health counseling license, specifically as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state where you practice.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with an empathetic nature that fosters trust and rapport with clients.
• Proficient in using digital platforms for client interactions, including video conferencing software.
• A reliable computer setup with a webcam and audio capabilities, coupled with a stable and secure internet connection.

• Prior experience in teletherapy or remote counseling is preferred, especially for those familiar with adapting traditional therapy techniques to a virtual format.
• Experience working with hospice or end-of-life care can be advantageous due to the specific needs associated with this patient population.
• Familiarity with various treatment modalities and a commitment to ongoing professional development.

• Annual salary in the range of USD 90,000 – 104,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
