Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments to understand patient needs and develop tailored treatment plans that address specific challenges.
• Implement evidence-based interventions, such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and mindfulness-based practices, to support client well-being.
• Maintain meticulous clinical documentation while adhering to ethical standards of confidentiality.
• Collaborate with a committed treatment team, including physicians, nurses, and other mental health professionals, to ensure holistic care for each individual.
• Provide education and emotional support to patients and their families, equipping them with coping strategies to navigate emotional difficulties.
• Stay informed about the latest research and advancements in mental health to continually enhance patient care practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your focus will encompass a diverse range of clients, including those coping with terminal illness, psychological trauma, and serious mental health issues. Qualifications

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution is mandatory.
• A valid LCSW license in the state of Virginia is required to practice effectively.
