Schedule Details/Additional Information:
  • Shifts are available in 5-hour and 8-hour durations and include evenings, overnight coverage, weekends, and holidays.
  • Advanced Practice Providers (APPs) must be Acute Care Board Certified.
  • Candidates must be a Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) with a minimum of three years of recent critical care experience practicing as an NP or PA.
  • Applicants must be actively working in a critical care setting and demonstrate strong clinical expertise in the management of critically ill patients.
  • Will require WI & IL licensure

Pay Range:
$53.80 - $80.70
Job Description
The APP will be expected to manage medical and surgical ICU patients and is encouraged to practice at the top of their license. Essential functions: obtain a medical history, physical exam, document findings, and prepare a plan of care in a timely manner including ordering medications and appropriate tests/procedures. Attend, participate in and contribute to group/practice meetings, development of policies and procedures, and quality improvement initiatives.

  • Salary guarantee with Performance Incentive for full-time position
  • Current team consists of 50 physicians, 30 critical care RNs, 6 Health-care assistants.
  • Our virtual critical care program provides 24/7 coverage via a shift-based model to 18 different facilities across Illinois and Wisconsin. APPs will cover WI units only.
  • Critical care services provided by using two-way audio video communication, real-time bedside waveform monitors, and integrated EMR for review of documentation, labs, vitals, and diagnostics.
