Location: Field-based (Travel within CO, NE, and WY)

Aero Constructors LLC is seeking a motivated and reliable individual to join our team as a full-time Tower Technician. We specialize in tower construction and maintenance for major wireless providers, utility companies, broadcasters, and government agencies throughout Colorado, Nebraska, and Wyoming. With offices in Ault, CO, and Grand Island, NE, our technicians operate directly from home to job sites using company-provided vehicles—no regular office reporting required.


Job Overview:

The successful applicant will participate in the installation, maintenance, and upgrade of communication towers, lighting systems, antennas, RF transmission lines, and related equipment. This role is hands-on and physically demanding, requiring a strong work ethic and a willingness to work at heights.

This role is a great fit for individuals with backgrounds in:

  • Climbing (e.g., rock climbing)
  • Farming, ranching, or other hands-on outdoor work
  • Mechanical trades

While these backgrounds are helpful, they are not required.


Travel Requirements:

  • Primarily day travel within assigned territory
  • Occasional overnight travel (2–5 nights per week, depending on job location)
  • $35/day per diem for overnight stays


Position Details:

  • Job Type: Full-time
  • Pay: $22.00 – $35.00 per hour (DOE). Roughly $70-$130k annually with OT. 
  • Hours: 40–60 hours/week
  • Work Setting: Field-based; construction sites; outdoors at heights
  • Supplemental Pay: Overtime at 1.5x


Qualifications:

  • Must be 21+ years old
  • Must pass a drug test
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
  • Basic computer skills and strong organizational habits
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Able to work independently and follow detailed instructions
  • Comfortable working outdoors in variable weather
  • Physically and mentally able to climb and work at heights over 150'
  • Supply own basic hand tools and appropriate outdoor gear
  • OSHA safety compliance is required
